Staying in a palace like setting |Dance in the spacious room |Yummy food with a great rooftop view |Helpful and polite staff members ||Although it was the cheapest stay in terms of money, it was the grandest in our trip. Although sceptical when booking, this stay had turned out to be magnificent even if it was for a day!||It's only 5 walking mins away from Ghanta Ghar and 2 walking mins from Toorji ka Jhalra. It has a breathtaking view of Mehrangarh Fort from its rooftop and the food tasted amazing! It's a renovated heritage palace in which the rooms were magnificent which necessary amenities (even a bathtub , although we didn't get time to use it)||The cherry on top was the polite and helpful behaviour of all the staff members who treated us with sincerity and indulged our customized requests.||When in Jodhpur, stay in Kings Retreat Palace if you could get the booking! I booked from Agoda with a much cheaper price ||If in Jodhpur, don't forget to try Makkhaniya Lassi from Shri Mishrilal Hotel and Palak Chaat from Arora Chaat Bhandar

King's Retreat is a nice little small hotel in the heart of the old city. This is old city so be be forewarned that cabs don't go till the hotel, autos is the only way to get right upto the hotel. The room and bathroom were quite clean. There is no heater though. The breakfast (poha, aalu paratha) was simple yet warm and tasty. The fort entrance is a 10 to 15-minute walk from the hotel (although it's a steep incline so this route is not advisable for the unfit or the aged), so you won't need a vehicle to get to the fort from this hotel. The owner Daanish also conducts a guided heritage walk through the 'Blue City' which is also enjoyable.

Rooms were big, comfy bed and big bathroom. Awesome location and rooftop a great view and place to chill|I felt safe and comfortable the whole time by myself as a female traveller. |In the morning an evening it was easy to sit on the roof and take in the surroundings

By far the best place I have stayed so far in India!! The owner, manager and staff were friendly, informative and willing to help! As I travel as female solo, I put much attention to the place I rent the quality and safety and I must say this surpass my expectations. Rooms are like the pictures, with AC. Nice breakfast with options to choose like omelette, pancakes etc. The view from the rooftop is amazing and totally worth to have a tea or eat there ! Overall had a great experience and would recommend this to anyone that wants a nice place with a value for money option!

Take the rooms on FIRST Floor! Its old city jodhpur, so expect noises at night, from barking dogs to qawwali nights at midnight, but the rooms are really spacious.||The roof top view is mind blowing. Food is really good. They have youngsters coming for hookah and all, so don't get triggered, its okay! ||The only down point is there is no intercom, so get the number of the person who takes care of the property, he will help you in everything, by the name of DEV.||Danish is also very helpful, but you might not find him at the reception the whole day, which is okay with me!||All in all, great rooms, great food, great service and absolutely great location for old city!! Fits in the budget as well!

I am writing the review based on my 3 day first time visit to jodhpur with my kids "I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Kings Retreat in Jodhpur, which turned out to be the highlight of my journey. I visited for a mix of business and pleasure with my kids, and initially, I was apprehensive about leaving them alone at the hotel during my meetings. However, thanks to the warm hospitality of the owners and staff members specially mr.Ranjit and Bhavani, i had complete peace of mind. They treated us like family and ensured our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel's location is exceptional, with everything within walking distance. The owners are kind, cooperative, and genuinely welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Kings Retreat to anyone visiting Jodhpur for the first time. The food is delicious, and you must try their pancakes - the cheese used is amazing! My kids thoroughly enjoyed the meals, and the photos of them indulging in the food say it all. Overall, I'm so grateful for the wonderful experience at Hotel Kings Retreat. You won't regret choosing this hotel for your stay in Jodhpur!"

We did early check in as we informed the hotel person a month in advance but when we arrived in early morning,the person was so lazy that he did not changed bed sheets , towels or cleaned up the room.|After regular check in time, he shifted us to other room which was decent but tea kettle and electric points were not working. Also electricity was the problem. Food was also ok. The restaurant positive point is its location. You can see mehrangarh fort right from its terrace. But you can find many similar hotels nearby with even good food . Also this hotel has received many awards till 2018. Seems maintenance is big concern in recent years. The live music was also not being played which was it's USP. |As the people here not favour for indians wrt even food service.|You will also surely not get UBER CAB here as cars are not allowed inside. We have to take autos only to travel.

The hotel is in the best location (though a car might not go on these small narrow roads). The view from restaurant is amazing and the food is great. The staff are very friendly and nicely behaved. The rooms are heritage themed and clean.
