Amritara Manak Haveli, Jodhpur

This place was an absolute delight! This charming heritage property beautifully showcases 150 year old traditional Indian architecture, with warm and welcoming ambiance. The rooms are a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort, making the experience truly unique. The staff is incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring every need is met with a smile. If you're looking for a clean and peaceful retreat steeped in culture, this hidden gem is a must-visit! Only minor negative comment is regarding the vicinity where the property is located. It is not very clean.

The cultural experience at Amritara manak haveli left us with many stories and great memories. The hotel facilities and room services are exceptional. The staff are also accommodating and friendly. Especially Jitu bhaiyya, he's a great host.

A good guest house set in a historic haveli. The rooms are spacious with basic amenities, and the bathrooms are clean with functional showers.It's a solid option in Jodhpur for those seeking a "premium" haveli experience. The staff was also friendly.

We recently stayed at this hotel and would like to share a few observations that might be helpful for anyone considering a booking: 1. Location: The hotel is situated in a highly congested area, making direct car access impossible. Visitors are required to park their vehicles at least 2 kilometers away and use local autos or rickshaws to reach the property. 2. Staff: The staff were very cooperative and accommodating, which we greatly appreciated. 3. Rooms: While the rooms were clean, the biggest issue we faced was the lack of soundproofing. The property is relatively small, and noises from other guests and surrounding areas easily filtered into the rooms, making it difficult to sleep peacefully.

Amazing stay at the haveli and the rooms were great too. Nice view of mehrangarh from the terrace. Exceptional service given my Mr Jitendra. (Suggestion to management to retain him for as long as possible as he is very committed to the guests) There are few coins but management has covered it well. Hotel is not car accessible but you can park car in a parking yard and auto pickup and drop is provided by hotel. Rest of the time we walked to the car through the narrow lanes. Breakfast could improve. It was not upto the standard of 4 star restaurant and cost paid. This is the only negative i found during the stay. Overall, a wholesome experience. Jitendra created a very homely vibe during our stay.

We stayed in the Maharani room. The bed was comfortable. However I would say don't stay in this room if you have any mobility issues as there are about five steps down into the room without any banister, and the bathroom is at the top of the steps.|Due to the property's location, we had dinner both nights at the hotel. It was difficult to get the staff to pay us any attention, and on the final morning (we were the only guests) breakfast times were changed without any notification, and there were some communication difficulties.|The room information describes a 42" TV which it wasn't, a fruit basket which was not there, dressing gowns which weren't provided until requested, and windows - well there were windows but not that you could look out through. And finally, there were some celebrations nearby one night which were so loud we were unable to sleep until after midnight. The room unfortunately did not live up to expectations or the previous reviews.

Amritara Manak Haveli came to us as a surprise. Our initial stay was at Heritage Kuchaman Haveli which was horrible. When we asked our travel agent for a change in stay he recommended Amiritara and that changed the whole mood. Although it's located at a very narrow interior lane, the stay offers a free rickshaw pick/drop to the Ghanta Ghar square. When we informed them 15 mins prior to our arrival, they arranged an auto and he even called us promptly and very well coordinated. Upon reaching the property we were greeted in style and the manager Mr. Jitender gave us a quick tour of the haveli and then took us to the room. Speaking about the room we were throughly impressed with the ambience and decor which was oozing with romantic vibe. When we wanted to step out and explore the manager arranged for the same auto which felt safe and didn't have to direct him back to the place and the hotel staff would brief them before leaving. The auto guy Mr. Lucky Acharya was very good and even waited patiently at many spots and even recommended places/markets to visit. We felt bad that the stay was only for a day however the place was worth the stay. During check out one of the family memebers of the haveli management Ms. Vanshika spoke to us so well and shared a lot of stories associated with the Haveli and showed us a few antique exibhits she had collected. She even offered must visit places. Overall Amritara is a must visit and i highly recommend when visiting Jodhpur. Note that i have rated the location 4 stars despite it being located in a narrow lane with no four wheeler access. This rating is due to the responsibility they take in receiving and dropping Customers back to the main area which offsets the inconvenience!

Staying here was an absolute joy. The haveli belonged to our host's grandfather and it really felt like we were being welcomed into a family home. The place was absolutely beautiful and full of character and the meals delicious; but for me the stand out was the excellent hospitality. I absolutely recommend staying here!
