Amazing stay at Samsara Desert camp. Hospitality was very nice and food was awesome. Must visit place

We were driven to the camp riding the steep sand dunes at a thrilling speed, stayed in a large room in the tented camp, had a sunset drink of the top of the nearby dune, and we were entertained with fabulous really mesmerizing local dancers. That evening a local jeep driver was getting married and they took us to the reception. Next morning, we went for the sunrise camel ride, and unfortunately, the sky was covered. Dress warmly! A great experience.

If you've already been to Dubai for a dune tour, you might want to skip this one. The dunes are quite low and there's a surprising amount of greenery. A camel ride could potentially offer a better experience, and be aware, they don't take photos for you. A significant drawback is the language barrier; not many people speak English well. On the bright side, the food is excellent. The tents are of medium quality, and it's important to note that they should have a heater for the night; otherwise, it can get extremely cold.

This was our 7th visit to the resort and as always it was a memorable one. We have visiting this resort and the camp site with family, friends, dune bashing group and for impromptu drive from Jodhpur for dinner too. The ambiance, staff, service, food and hospitality never failed to impress us. From Karan to Arjun, Dharmendra to Suvendu, services are par excellence. Staff is very polite and courteous and more than willing to make your stay luxurious. Food is lavish and sumptuous. There are ample activities for solo travelers to large groups. We have stayed in their luxury tents also and the experience was out of the world. The GM was kind enough to make special dining arrangements for us on the dunes with campfire to survive the cold of 1 Jan night in the desert till 5 AM. One of the best ways to complete your Rajasthan experience. Pros - Luxury resort offering excellent desert camps and sumptuous food. Go for their fantastic package of one day desert camping and one day at their resort for best experience - Their jeep safari through the dunes is a thrill and not to be missed - Resort accomodates the camel safari as well which takes you to the top of their sand Dune for a beautiful Hi tea sunset experience - post Hi tea, A lovely evening was followed by a cultural program clubbed with a barbeque cuisine - I was mesmerized by their private dinner arrangements on top of the dune under the starry sky - The resort boasts a Lovely swimming pool and spacious rooms to unwind - Closeby is the paragliding tour for another experience not part of the resort though Cons - There isn't a sports centre like Snooker table to kill time at the resort other than the swimming pool

Definitely a good mid way stop when traveling from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur. There is ample parking and the sprawling property is a good change from the small dhabas and eateries along the way. A bit on the expensive side but the taste of the food and the warm hospitality make up for this in spades. Also a great place to get some amazing pics of the trip.
