Hotel Tokyo Palace

I had a spacious room with balcony and bathtub. Unfortunately, there was no stopper to use the bathtub. Apparently owner married with a Japanese lady and lived in Tokyo for over 25 years. He must have brought the hospitality to Jaisalmer. The service level here is top notch in Indian standards. Mr Nanga, the in charge of the hotel was very kind and helpful. He offered discount during low seasons on room and desert tour. Booked a desert overnight tour through the reception. It was such an experience. However, they charged me extra IR/350 for tent. In fact, tent didn't exist. I didn't bother to ask for refund since the tour was great. After the tour, hotel staffs arranged shower at dorm room. On top of everything else, they sent a staff to walk me to the 4 mins way bus stop. Rooftop restaurant had a fantastic view of the fort, food was good and big in portion.

I stayed at Hotel Tokyo Palace for eight days in late April 2025. The staff were friendly and attentive, and arranged a tour of Jaisalmer Fort for us with a great guide. My room and the hotel was clean; the pool water was sparkling clean. The thick stone walls kept my room cool during the heat of the day, even when I had been out with the airconditioning off. Jaisalmer Fort is walking distance away and the view of it from the rooftop restaurant is spectacular. Thank you to Saki and all the staff for a wonderful stay.

Good hotel, they have cold swimming pool to fresh up in hot weather. Beautiful rooms, ac, comfy beds. I took a trip to the desert with camel riding, and night. It was one of the best adventure iny life. You sleep under the stars. The night was not cold. No mosquitos. The food was delicious and deserts guys was super friendly. I gave them tips, but another tourists didn't.( If you're a tourist, give them a little tips, they are really friendly and kind, make them happy also, you will not lose a lot from this. So I'm excited.

We stayed here in April 2025, the property was absolutely beautiful with lovely rooms and comfy beds. The view of the fort from the rooftop was beautiful, and within walking distance. Also it is located within walking distance of the bus stop at Air Force Circle. The staff were so friendly and helpful including Mr Sakhil - we would like to thank them all for such a good stay in Jaisalmer.

Hotel location is good & close to the fort. But hotel services are not good. Stayed for a night in this hotel but TV is not working in room, call to the reception 3 times for that but didn't picked up & get solution. In bathroom flush tank is not working properly. Staff is only busy to give good service to foreign people. I think better hotel will get in the price that this hotel charged.

The location is good, just walkable from the jaisalmer fort, there are lots of eateries nearby, the hotel has got a swimming pool as well. Water level is low but its still a pool. In house restaurant is present but we dint try anything there. Rooms are good with sandstone, so it's cool in daytime also. We paid Rs 2k for 1 night. Parking is an issue, not much area is available and parking is directly in the road.

Most beautiful view of the fort from the rooftop cafe, the prices are reasonable and the staff was very kind. The layout and style is very classy and the prices for room are great. Definitely enjoy the pool, feels more like a 5star hotel :) Thank you Allae

It was a very good stay at the Tokyo Palace Hotel, the staff is very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean with air conditioning. a big thank you to Sakhi for his professionalism And the trio in the desert was really great !
