From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and welcome throughout our entire stay. The hotel's ambiance was nothing short of charming, with every corner reflecting thoughtful attention to detail. Our room was not only spacious but also impeccably clean and beautifully appointed. It was clear that comfort and relaxation were top priorities here. The food at the hotel was a true highlight. Every meal, whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, was a delightful experience. The variety of dishes offered was impressive, and each was expertly prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. Whether you're a fan of local cuisine or international fare, the hotel's restaurants have something to satisfy every palate. Overall, the combination of outstanding service, amazing food, and top-notch facilities made for a perfect stay. We truly couldn't have asked for more. My husband and I stayed at this hotel when it first opened in 2014 and I returned in 2016 as well so we were pleased to be able to have a return visit on this current trip to India. We let Helsinki House know we were coming back- they arranged a driver to meet us at the airport- a welcoming shower of rose petals and garlands of flowers! |The hotel has changed significantly since my last visit. The foyer area has been redesigned and is a truly lovely welcoming space.|Our spacious room overlooked the lake (a bit of water this time as apparently there were unprecedented floods late last year) The Rajhastani furnishings were colourful and tasteful. The bathroom has obviously been remodelled since last visit- it was modern and sleek; toilets and basin were modern in design. Lots of room.|We ate at the rooftop restaurant. We found that this was the best food we'd had since arriving in India. There were salad /vegetable options as well traditional food and the cook prepared anything that we wanted. Unfortunately just as we arrived I came down with a flu virus and had to spend time in bed. The wonderful management (Mr Maru) organised for the BEST chicken spicy soup to my room on several occasions.|I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough_ everyone was helpful. The hotel was very clean and efficiently run- but it was really the staff that made our return stay such a delight.|Since our first visit a decade ago many many more hotels have sprung up- Jaisalmer seems to have become a tourist mecca. So if you are heading to Jaisalmer this really is a great choice to stay.|We also went to the Helsinki Desert camp- separate review. A great add on.|Shout at to Maru and staff. Thank you.

Beautiful property, elegantly constructed, Superbly maintained. It is outside the fort area however the view from room 11 and 12 is beautiful. It's overlooking a seasonal lake. Decent food, tastefully done rooms. Located 1km from market and main road, all necessary things are available nearby. The caretaker is very helpful and ensures you have a great time.||Recommended.

My wife stayed here with two female friends. The hotel was well maintained (everything works!). The hotel was clean with chic decor and high quality food and the staff were courteous. This hotel runs a very nice desert camp as well, which makes the whole trip smooth and more relaxing.

Stunning. It was our 1st visit to India. Jaisalmer was incredible. We were so impressed staying at Hotel Helsinki, our stay was perfect. The building is stunning and the rooms are so comfortable. We had all our meals and drinks there, and we were so pleased with everything.. The staff are 1st class. We had nothing to worry about, from laundry to transport, they took care of us. Highly recommended.

Loved the hotel! Clean & sanitized room, Helpful staff, hotel's prime location near station & airport also food made it a memorable stay. The owner is quite helpful and create's a personal touch also if you have not planned your itinerary. Creating value for money!

First impression, the pictures do not match the hotel, the restaurant/rooftop area far from what was advertised. Then it comes the smell, our room smelled like a sewage, we tried everything, from keeping open windows to having the AC 24/7, it helped a little but not much. Adding to the above the general cleaningness, the restaurant ropes had not been changed in the 4 nights we stayed. Let's say also the positives, the staff was nice, specially the waiter. 100% will NOT recommend unless you lost your sense of smell and taste.
