Hotel Garh Jaisal Haveli, Jaisalmer

Great place to stay in Jaisalmer. If I ever return to Jaisalmer, I will definitely come here again. The rooms were comfortable and the food was good. The top floor terrace has a great view and let's you relax for a while after a long day. The railing on the top floor is uncomfortably low at some points so better check your kids if you have them with you.

I stayed at Garh Jaisal Haveli for 5 days, and it was such a nice stay. The hotel is beautiful and feels like stepping back in time, though the stairs are a bit steep--but that's part of its charm! The rooms are colorful, and I stayed in two during my visit. The best part was waking up to see the sunrise from my balcony, though it gets quite bright in the mornings. The rooftop terrace has an incredible view of Jaisalmer, and I spent a lot of time there relaxing.||||The desert safari was a great experience. They took us to a quiet, less touristy spot, and I went with some other hotel guests. Everyone was so friendly--it made the trip even better.||||My family recommended this hotel, and I'm so glad I stayed here. It's in the center of Jaisalmer, close to the temples, the fort, and the bustling local streets. The area feels safe, and the local families around are kind--one even invited me for chai! Would be great choice for solo female travelers as Jaisalmer fort is like a small living village and families living around.||The manager, Anit, and the staff were very helpful, and they made everything easy for me.||||The restaurant serves amazing food. One evening, they gave me a homemade meal--it was simple but easily the best food I've eaten in India. Overall, it felt like home. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Jaisalmer

This is one of the finest hotels we have ever stayed in during our travels. We booked a standard double room with a city/landmark view, which was very spacious and well-equipped with all the essentials. Located within the fort premises, the Haveli offers breathtaking views from both the room and the rooftop restaurant. Witnessing the beautiful sunrise and enjoying breakfast with the fort on one side and the city on the other was an unforgettable experience. The staff were exceptionally hospitable and friendly, even arranging a local guide for us on short notice since we had limited time to explore the city. It's truly a gem of a place! We can't wait to return and spend even more time here!

What a truly beautiful hotel tucked away in the corner of the fort. The staff could not have been more helpful. They really were lovely. The included breakfast was superb. You could have fruit yogurt, pancakes, eggs or a local breakfast. The bedroom was beautiful and the beds were the most comfortable on our trip so far. The shower room was lovely and hot water unlimited. I really could not fault it| |

Excellent Heritage Property specially rooms with Fort & City view. Their service is also very good and prompt. Restaurant food taste is also good. All the tourist spots nearby, you can go for it. And their rooftop view is excellent.

Garh Jaisal Haveli is a great place to stay in Jaisalmer. The staff are really friendly, especially in the kitchen--they're always smiling and happy to serve. It really feels like you are staying at your friend's place.||I had a little mishap with my medication running out (not ideal when you're traveling), but the manager was incredibly kind. He didn't hesitate--he actually took me on his motorbike to help me get a replacement! I didn't even ask, and yet he went out of his way to help. That's the kind of hospitality that really makes an impression.||The room is nice, full of character, and has a cozy, old-time feel. They also arranged a city tour for me, which was really informative and reasonably priced. The desert safari, where I slept under the stars, was an unforgettable experience. ||The food was another highlight. The restaurant offers fresh, flavorful meals that made me feel like I was eating a home-cooked meal.||But what really makes Garh Jaisal Haveli stand out is the family atmosphere. The owner actually lives next door, and the whole place is run by the family. It's this personal touch that makes staying here so unique. If you want an authentic, homey experience in Jaisalmer, this is the place. I'll definitely be back!

Nothing is too much trouble for Anit and his staff. A beautiful, old haveli inside the fort, everything was spotless and comfortable. A complementary tour of the city was excellent and we also booked a wonderful desert tour through Anit. Meals were delicious, with fabulous views from the rooftop restaurant. The best pancakes in India!

Garh Jaisal Haveli inside Jaisalmer Fort is a nice spot, really cozy and feels like you're in a whole different world. The location is great, right in the heart of the fort, with some nice views and easy access to the local spots.||A heads up though - if you're arriving before 2 pm, you'll have to walk from the fort parking to the hotel, since there's only one entry point to the fort. We got an email and some messages from the staff about it, so we knew what to expect. It's not a huge deal, but it's something to keep in mind.||The staff were super friendly and made sure everything was taken care of. They set us up with a guide for the fort tour, which was cool and informative. Also, the desert safari they arranged for us was definitely one of the best parts of our trip - such a fun experience.||Oh, and the airport drop was all sorted too, which was nice, so no last-minute stress.||All in all, if you're looking for a unique place to stay with great service and a real feel of the fort, Garh Jaisal Haveli is definitely worth it. Totally recommend it if you're visiting Jaisalmer!
