Hotel Fort View

First the only few good things- Prime location and great view. Now highlight of our two days experience- Poor service and no sense of professionalism by the owner. The owner despite knowing that we have a booking and even during our stay wouldn't bother to pick up the call or call back. If you are lucky he would answer in the second try. Our room did not have the following- A toilet seat Curtains Towels Bathroom lock Wifi Only two sockets (none near bed) Toiletries (not even hand wash) Water bottles We had to constantly beg for our basic demands like milk and hot water as we were travelling with a baby. Despite our requests, few of our issues were not resolved at all. The breakfast though included in the price, was given as a bare minimum. And the restaurant that they have mentioned, doesn't exist anymore. Don't get fooled by it. They themselves recommended a restaurant that was across the street. My advice, do not book at all with friends and family or more than one person. If you just need a place to sleep, then it is fine.

Worst experience as a hotel. Sing a guest house would also mean too much. The only positive thing is that it is opposite fort nothing else. Misrepresentation of rooms in photos. Unclean washrooms. No maintenance in rooms. Please do not opt for this hotel

Looking out at the incredible fort, enjoying (freshly squeezed) lemon soda, delicious authentic thali dishes and perfect roti cooked by Ali, Kamal and Salam. Lemon pancakes were a real treat for breakfast one morning. Nothing is a bother and these 3 make you feel right at home. I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and watching life go by in the chowk. If you're really lucky you might even catch a wedding procession go by, you'll hear it before you see it ;-) The Rooftop Restaurant is well worth the stairs! Can't wait to go back.

Came here same time last year, and I'm back here now. One of the best hostels I've been in travelling around India, Great prices, food the happiest hosts Ali, his brother and his nephew bring great vibes and make you feel so at home. Also can't beat the view of the Fort from the chilled out restaurant upstairs. thanks for having us !

We visited hotel fort view for dinner one night and we were very happy with the friendly staff. The owner was nice and spoke great English we had nice conversation with him. The meal was nice and home style cooking and the restaurant has a excellent view of the fort.

Although our room was not so big, it was clean and with hot water to an unbeatable price! Central hotel in Jaisalmer, you can quickly reach any place in the city.|The staff was really friendly, always with a smile and helping whenever they could (keeping our backpacks safe during safari, providing hot water at any time, good chai, etc.).|I can only recommend it!

Perhaps 0 star wouldn't be enough to describe this filthy place. Sorry I can't say it's a hotel. We stayed there in four beaded family room. Room is ok if you are ok with staying old buildings. Toilet and bathroom are pathetic awful. Tiniest possible washroom with door dose not closed property. This is one part of staying. Other big part of taking Sam sand dews tour from this cheat people. They charge a huge and get the full money in advance. After reaching there we will find only 10 mins of camel suffery we have been thrown into desert. We had to walk back to the resort for evening program. Resort is having no modern toilet even for ladies. Don't go this Sahara desert camp. Food are also not very authentic Rajasthan. Moral of our suffering is don't book any such from hotel and instead book a cab and go to Sam village and take camel ride and after sunset back to Jaisalmer.

The owner of the place are realy lovely ! Rooms are ok and cheap ! You have a really cool rooftop with a view of the fort and they make good food !||The location is perfect, just in front of the fort and close to little street which will remind you Aladin :D
