Hotel Fifu

I found Hotel Fifu last minute after a not great experience at another hotel. I was greeted by the warmest, kindest, most helpful man I met on all my travels thru India. The hospitality here is off the charts. The hotel itself is very charming with a nice rooftop terrace with incredible fort views. The food was also quite good, so ate here every night. Fifu also helps with organizing camel safaris and transportation so no need to book ahead of time. Overall an excellent stay and highly recommend.

We stayed 2 nights at this wonderful hotel. |Staff are friendly and Mr Fifu the owner is very passionate about his business. |Also stayed at his other place in the desert camp, which was a highlight on our trip. |Upstairs has a wonderful view over the city, and the food was fantastic. |Mr Fifu even gave my wife a small gift when we were leaving and was very much appreciated.

Such a great spot! The decor was amazing and I loved the reading nook by the window in the room. Comfortable bed, large room, great location. The employees were so kind and helpful, and even gave our group beautiful pillowcases in celebration of Holi. An amazing stay, wish we could have been there longer.

I recommend the FIFU hotel 100%. Very clean hotel (sheets, sanitary facilities) delicious kitchen and very well located outside the noisy city. Its terrace overlooks a pretty point of view on the fort. The staff are very respectful. The owner Fifu speaks French and is very concerned about your well-being. Her son receives you at the welcome always with his beautiful smile. I have an excellent memory of my vacation in this hotel. I hope to come back to it. Genevieve

During our trip to India, our tour operator booked through FIFU HOTEL a camel safari in the desert with overnight stay in a swiss tent in the desert. The companion provided by the hotel was very kind but the structure in the desert was really BAD.||The description from the site was "Comfort and Luxury" but in reality the camp had a badly maintained structure. The "room" and the dining room were not at all comfortable and very dirty (I'm not talking about the desert dust). The bathroom? No comment

Felt at home and great hospitality. The staff made me feel like family (the owner and his son were so nice). Had a great time and will be back. The kitchen staff was fantastic to my every need! My wife felt sick before arrival and they accommodated anything she needed along the way. We even did a camel safari through them and had a very nice time.

We had a great time staying here with family. The rooms are absolutely beautiful. They have used the space very smartly and kept the interior in sync with the Jaisalmer architecture which makes it even more interesting. We could also see a glimpse of the Jaisalmer Fort from our room. One major con in this hotel is that there are NO ELEVATORS. So, if you traveling with family that includes older people, you might want to reconsider it. Other than that, everything was perfect including the staff who were very helpful and courteous.

Nice little hotel with lots of character. Check-in was easy and welcoming and bedroom was clean and well equipped. The best thing though is the rooftop restaurant which although is vegetarian has a good menu (the Cashew Curry is one of the best things I've ever eaten) and Ajay & Parbender couldn't do enough to give us a lovely experience. |I would recommend.
