We stayed with family at Chokhi Dhani The Palace Hotel for three nights on 24 Feb and 26-27 Feb 2025. Chokhi Dhani The Palace Hotel is located outside Jaisalmer City, a 15-minute drive from Jaisalmer airport, and is easily approachable. The property has a nice ambience with Rajasthani architecture a small garden on two sides of the hotel and a small pool for kids. The interior decoration of the reception and dining room is attractive and good for photography. We stayed in the Royal Room, which was cosy, comfortable, clean, spacious and, elegantly decorated, with tea kettle and water bottles. We stayed for three nights, and every morning, we found the buffet breakfast best in a 4-star hotel. Every day the breakfast menu was changing and one can find something new and the dessert was really tasty. We got buffet dinner on two days and was very good and tasty. It was not very spicy or oily and on one day there was no buffet dinner, so we ordered from the menu, it was tasty. As our booking was for free breakfast, we paid extra for dinner and the cost was very reasonable. At present the Chef of the hotel is Mr Dana Khan. He used to come every day at breakfast and dinner time and ask about the food quality. We always appreciated him for the good quality and taste of the food prepared and the menu. Room service was prompt. In the dining hall, the service staff was good.|My suggestion is on the food and transport. Regarding food, we did not find Rajasthani dishes or Thali, if it requires pre-information, the hotel should take it at the time of Check-in. The second suggestion is transport booking. The hotel does not have any transport desk or facility to assist their guests in getting good transport through the hotel.

We stayed at Chokhi Dhani The Palace Hotel in Jaisalmer for one day with family. The overall experience was pleasant. The hotel has a beautiful architecture that resembles a traditional fort, giving it a royal and unique charm. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated, with good interiors that added to the aesthetic appeal. However, we did face a few issues during our stay. The door lock in our room was not functioning properly, which was inconvenient. Also, some parts of the hotel were under renovation, which caused a bit of disturbance. The swimming pool could definitely use better maintenance and cleanliness. On the brighter side, the breakfast was delicious and had a decent variety. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful, making our stay more comfortable. With a few improvements, this place can offer an even better experience. Overall, a good option for a short stay with family if you're looking for a heritage-style hotel in Jaisalmer.

The hotel is fine but not that great. The rooms are clean. The breakfast menu is pretty repeatative and also without much variety. Overall the staff is also not much good. Overall poor experience and would not recommend staying at this hotel if you are with family. Location wise also it's located in a very deserted part of the city

Located at a secluded place outside Jaisalmer and no shops are in surrounding area. Outside facade is good but inside maintenance is collapsing. Many of our group of 40 senior citizens were allotted rooms on first floor. The lift was non-functional and our complaint was simply brushed aside by the front desk officials. We were forced to use steps. Many bathrooms had issues about water, cistern and towels. The present management totally lacks the professionalism, giving the impression that they are no longer interested in managing the property. Food quality was also not found good. No facility is provided for your driver, if any.

I have been with my group with 5 rooms and the experience was terrible. The room and location are nice but the staff behavior is very rude and they don't have any staff as per their capacity. ||We ordered a la carte dinner and the taste was okay, Breakfast was a buffet and it was a very bad experience as they are claiming 5-star property especially when you have experience with RAMADA, Raddision, and Anata. ||Checkout the attached photos, Menu was broken and in breakfast, they are serving water from a normal water jug even nowadays the 3-star property also gives small packed water bottles.

Definitely not worth the price that you pay for the room. Photos are very deceiving. This is no way a 4 star property. Cleanliness in the room and the restaurant was bad. The service standards are pretty questionable. The service in the restaurant was ok but the front desk had lot of staff at check in but they looked disorganised. The luggage I was told would be delivered to our room ( which I was more than happy to carry to my room) but after 15-20 mins when I went downstairs it was just left unattended and I had to carry the luggage up the stairs. The food in the restaurant was just ok. For dinner we had a cat visit us twice from the road into the restaurant. The good things - 1. some of the staff were good, especially the restaurant staff and the overnight front desk person. 2. they gave us an early check in

Awesome . The property is luxurious with a swimming pool. The deal with Mr.Ali Nawaz Khan was so pocket friendly. The service of the staff - Room Service, Kitchen Service, Electricians, Poolside Service, hospitality - all were appreciable. Mr.Dhanna Khan - the Chef, has a miraculous talent of cooking. His veg /non-veg items were super delicious. The Malai Kofta, Laal Maas, Chicken Curry, Dal Tadka, Mix Veg, Aloo Gobhi, Paneer, Soups or you may name any, all are heavenly tasty. Moreover, Dharmendra - from the hospitality staff and two gentle ladies served food with utmost care and affection. In a nutshell, you must stay at Chokhi Dhani The Palace Hotel , on your visit to Jaisalmer trip to make it more memorable and blissful .

This hotel is an absolute nightmare. The shower in my room didn't work, forcing me to consider the revolting common restrooms, which were in really bad state. My room wasn't ready on time, and the rude manager, Ali, was completely unhelpful. They wouldn't even give me an extra room key! To top it all off, the towels were stained and smelled like mildew. Do NOT stay here. It's an old property, poorly managed, and the staff clearly doesn't care. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.
