Really enjoyed our stay at Lal Garh Fort. We showed up and Sultan was very welcoming and accommodating. He made us feel very taken care of. We didn't hesitate to book in. Our room was beautiful, well presented and clean! We took the family room which is very spacious. The kids absolutely loved the pool to cool off aftrr a stroll in 44 degree heat. Located so close to the main market area, just a short walk away. Highly recommend staying at Lal Garh Fort. We definitely will be back here in the future. Dhiya, Shahn, Ariyan and Rylan

One of the best stay at a very reasonable price. The rooms were very good. Staff was very attentive and service oriented. Mr sultan was very cooperative and helped us a lot. He arranged for a local guide for a quick half day tour at a very rwasonable price. This helped us to manage limited time we have well.||The roof top view is good.||The drawback is that there is no breakfast included in package.||The food was not good at all.||We tried a near by restaurant Dosaka - south Indian food - very good taste at reasonable price.||Paekin
We checked in after a long bus ride and were treated to upgraded rooms because it was the off season. Our room was stunning! It had a beautiful balcony and a reading nook. We had excellent AC and a great swim in the pool downstairs. The staff members were all kind and helpful and one of them taught us a little about cricket (he was a huge fan).
Sultan is a fantastic manager and made us feel right at home, while offering a professional and 5 star service. On our 2nd night here the power went out, but only for a moment until the back up generator kicked in. Other local hotels that are amidst the vibrant, wonderful streets that is Jaiselmer are still in darkness. Oh and the pool. This is a gem. For a stay that is within walking distance to everything, this is unbelievable.
Wonderful stay at this hotel for our one night in Jaisalmer. We had 2 rooms and both were large, well-appointed & had the ambiance of a place stay. Included breakfast was from the menu which was a nice change from the many buffets at other hotels. Hotel was on a busy road but surrounded by other hotels & within walking distance to all major sites. Rooms were still quiet at night. Service was good - we were well cared for.
We arrived at 0530 on the overnight train from Bikaner. The hotel was full the previous night so we couldn't get a room at that time, but we were given somewhere comfy to rest and some water - and as soon as someone checked out the room was immediately made ready for us - by 0900 :)||A stunning room (107), comfy bed, great bathroom - brilliant value.||The staff were great - giving us recommendations on must visit places, restaurants, tuk tuk and taxi fares. Location is good - 5-10 minutes walk to main attractions and fort.||The hotel restaurant is very good and has amazing views of the fort.||We arranged a night at a desert camp through the hotel - great organisation, we were driven there by one of the hotel team and he checked throughout our stay that everything was ok. We left our main bags at the hotel while off in the desert, and they even gave us a room to rest when we got back while we waited to depart for our 15.30 train to Jodhpur.||As I said at the start - a really excellent hotel, one of our favourites in India so far (and we've been here for 2 months)....
Had a nice and comfortable stay. Wonderful views of the fort from many of the rooms. Comfortable bed and beautiful golden sandstone decor to go with the feel of Jaisalmer. Very caring staff. They go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. Great restaurant with chefs and staff who cared for our dietary needs. They can cater to Asian, European, Local as well as some Indian regional cuisines. Restaurant has beautiful views of the fort as well. Thanks for the hospitality.
The hotel's structure and ambience were good, but the overall experience was extremely disappointing. Cleanliness & Hygiene: There was a strong drainage smell in the bathroom, making the stay uncomfortable. Service: Very poor service--had to repeatedly ask for water and basic toiletries. Food Quality: The worst part of the stay. Found non-veg bones in a supposedly pure vegetarian dish, which is completely unacceptable. Overall, the food was terrible, and the kitchen service was the worst I've experienced. Breakfast was far below expectations. Pricing: For the price charged, the experience was nowhere near worth it. Would not visit again or recommend this place to anyone. If there were an option to give less than 1 star, I would.
