I had a really good experience during my stay here. One of the highlights was the early check-in at 10 AM without any extra charges--something most hotels make you pay for. That small gesture already set a positive tone.||||The rooftop restaurant served a decent breakfast with four options to choose from. The view of Hathroi Fort from the hotel adds a historical charm that immediately gives you the vibe of Jaipur's rich heritage. Although there was some ongoing construction during my stay, which slightly impacted the experience, I'm sure the place will be even better once it's completed.||||The owner was extremely helpful and personally took time to explain the history of Jaipur and even handed us a map with must-visit places. That kind of personal touch isn't something you get everywhere, and it really made a difference for me.||||The room was clean and comfortable, though a few items from the previous guest were left behind--nothing major, but something that could be improved. The bathroom was spacious and clean, but the toilet jet spray wasn't working well--it barely had any pressure, so that needs fixing.||||One thing I appreciated was the ability to refill our own water from the filter. It's a small but thoughtful feature--better than having to pay for every single bottle.||||All in all, a very nice stay. This hotel has great potential, especially for couples. With a bit more time and the construction wrapped up, I believe it'll become a go-to place in Jaipur.

Dear traveler,||If you're reading this, let me tell you--you've just found one of the best stays! This was easily one of my most memorable experiences in recent years. A cozy, charming, and welcoming place, perfect for a comfortable stay.||I'm someone who rarely leaves reviews, but I just had to for this one! The vibe of this place was incredible, and a huge shoutout to the property owner, Anshu. He went above and beyond to guide me on the best places to visit and the must-try local delicacies, making my birthday trip even more special.||A delightful bonus? I got a free upgrade, which made the stay even better! The hospitality was top-notch, and the in-house food was absolutely delicious--I ended up having dinner there for two nights straight!||If you're considering staying here, don't think twice. It's an experience worth having!

I found this to be a great budget friendly hotel. I really liked how clean it is, especially the bed and bathroom. The fan worked well and the internet connection was strong. I also liked that there were a few nice outdoor areas in the hotel. It's in a great location and there are quite a few nice food spots close by. The staff were also very friendly. I have stayed in similar priced hotels in Delhi, Varanasi and Agra and this is by far the nicest.

A Story Per Stay, Mine is I had a truly wonderful stay at Chitrakatha. The views from the balconies, terraces, and rooftop are simply breathtaking. Waking up to the chirping of birds and feeling the cool breeze drift through the building--even in the peak of summer--was nothing short of magical. Every piece of art here tells a story. My personal favorites were the striking eagle installation in the second-floor foyer and the inspired piece based on Frida Kahlo's self-portrait on the way to the rooftop restaurant. If you're lucky, you'll be treated to a meal curated by the host himself--a true storyteller through food. The Chicken Dak Bangla and Laal Maas weren't just meals; they were soulful experiences that will stay with me forever. And don't miss the Turkish Eggs--an absolute must-try! As a traveler, I feel like I'm carrying a part of Chitrakatha with me now. It's more than a stay--it's a story you become a part of. Some stories you just read , and some... I'm keeping for myself|A special mention to Iqbal, the tuk-tuk/auto driver, who made exploring Jaipur even more memorable. As a solo female traveler, I never felt unsafe--not even for a moment, even while passing through forested areas. He was truly a gem. His local food recommendations--patasi, kulfi, chai, and the iconic kachori at Samrat--were all spot-on.

The hotel is quite nice, in a small cosy street with a handful of other hotels and restaurants. The room was quite alright, high ceiling, clean and well ventilated. I had some issues with the staff, I found them a bit rude, but not as rude as the tuctuc driver gang that hangs outside these cosy hotels. The breakfast was also nice. All in all very good value for your money. In general, when it comes to Jaipur, I had the least pleasant stay of all the places I have visited in India the last two months. I still can recommend the place for a shorter visit.

The place is really lovely. Anshu is a warm and intelligent host--he shared so many helpful tips about getting around Jaipur that most people would probably charge for. He knows his stuff and is generous in sharing it, in more ways than one. The food was amazing, too. It was a truly special experience for me and my partner--thank you!

The staff was very polite, prompt and ready to assist . We had a peaceful stay. The room was clean. The story session was very helpful. Room service was also prompt. We could cover the important places in limited time. Worth staying. I would recommend this place.
