To all the village lovers this one of the best places for weekend outing. They have Mud Hut for nite stay with delicious food. You can cook Non Veg of you want to but have to inform in advance. This place is actually a organic farm where u can plan a weekend outing with friends or a family trip you want your childrens to have. Also there is a swimming pool for swimming lovers. Overall i would rate this place 5/5.

This resort is very good and totally organic. There are many facility like DJ in the grass ground under the shadow of trees, a good swimming pool with clean water, large area of different flowers, trees, and garden. The food the serve is very good and quality food. There is also a rest room, TV, refrigerator, Dinner table, dinning room etc. A great place for enjoying summer and holiday with group of friends.
Saharia is a retreat for me and my family that we look forward to every winter. We have been visiting this place since 2008 and just love it for its rustic and rural feel. It is not like a hotel and it lacks amenities like hot water (available in a bucket when you ask for it). But this is what attracts us to this place. It is like visiting a village house. You get to sleep in thatched huts on Charpoys, get up in the morning to the chirping of trees, have nice healthy breakfast and the fresh greens plucked from the fields.||The fact that each hut has an en-suite bathroom makes it very comfortable. Spending the day enjoying the winter sun makes it an idyllic place for rejuvenation. If you are travelling with young children, it is advisable to carry non perishable eatables for their requirement. As they not have anything available besides the main meals. Food is basic but caters to your need.||For me and my family always a great experience.
This is a village resort , a small one with approx 8 to 10 Huts , but gives a peaceful environment . It is approx 10 Km from Jaipur main city and is easy accessible ,however you would not find any direction signage , so you need to stop often and ask for the direction . The place is huge and has 90 % agricultural Farming done overall ,we got home made nice vegetarian food and staff was very courteous. ||||Suitable for 1 day short stay , overall nice place to visit
I spent 2 weeks volunteering in this farm (WWOOFING) and I really enjoyed my time there! It is a quite , simple and peaceful place.||Everyone was really nice to me: Bhupender and Ratan & his wife Tara showed me how to do my work, Suresh cooked very nice (and spicy) meals and his son Manish helped me with the English/Hindi translation ;-) I joined them to a local Festival, to the Kite Festival and to a wedding. I also spent one day in Jaipur City, thanks to Mr Ali who gave me a ride.||It just too bad I didn't meet the owner, Binod Saharia who knows a lot about organic farming. Thankfully his daughter came with her husband for a few days and we spoke a lot about India and organic business.||||As a volunteer, I didn't sleep or eat like any guests. So I can't really rate de Resort. I just can attest that the people are very nice here :)
We have stayed in Saharia Organic Resort on a number of occasions. With children and without. ||The resort is half an hour before (22kms) Jaipur on the NH8. Make a note of JCPL factory as a major landmark. The accomodation consists of 9 cottage like rooms and a courtyard, and three huts done up in village style. The only modern part is the ensuite bathrooms. The beds are charpoy style. In winter heavy rajais are provided. The meals provided are authentic Rajasthani, though you can request for your choice of meal and also help in preparing it.||If you enjoy a peaceful break away from the maddening hustle and bustle of the city, you will like it here. You are well taken care of by friendly and helpful staff and family. Summers can be harsh, the rest of the year is good. Whether you would like to help in planting trees, repairing a thatched roof, cooking a meal, working around the farm, reading a book, going for long walks in the village, this is for you. And if you are lucky you may get a tonga ride tour of the village and around.||There was an outdoor swimming pool, but you will need to check whether it is in use.||Rent is really low, plus cost of meals.||Website: www.sahariaorganicresort.com
Went to the resort for 3 days from 30 December 2014 to 2 January 2015. I was quite excited by the photos and was really looking forward to ringing in the new year away from the mad crowd and noisy cities. Unfortunately that couldn't be done as another group of about 10 people checked in who were noisy and intrusive beyond belief. They had the audacity to come to our room and ask us if they could use our washrooms!!! That when they themselves were checked in and were given the cottages. To my surprise, the staff allowed them to have a free run of the place as if we guys weren't guests at all or did not exist! The supervisor of the resort Bhupender, was a harried man, to say the least. The poor guys was trying to keep the place functioning smoothly but the chef there, Suresh, was the one who ensured our stay there was horrendous! On the first 2 days of our stay, we were given the same food for lunch and dinner. And I don't mean similar kind of food, I mean the SAME food. On asking the so called chef why we were being given the same daal for 3 meals in a row, he conveniently placed the blame on the owner of the property saying he has been asked to prepare daal which grows there on the farm, all meals and all days!! Irrespective of what the guests say!! Well I didn't buy his excuse whether it was the truth or not. We asked Bhupender to get us some eggs and sodas when he went to the market, which he did and handed them to the Chef to keep in the fridge. When we sat down for drinks in our room, lo and behold, the sodas were gone and so were a couple of eggs, about which the chef had no idea as to who took them, from the fridge in HIS kitchen!!|Didn't manage to get in touch with the owner after checking out even though we had met him the day we checked in, as he was not in town on 2 January. If you are reading this Vinod Ji, the chef of yours is no good at managing the affairs. All he does all day is boss around the poor cleaning guy, Ram Kumar and the supervisor Bhupender. |The property has so much potential which is going to waste because of poor day to day management and one bad fish which is polluting the pond.
This place is located just 25mins from jaipur city center and is a lush green place with swimming pool. A heaven for bird lovers and nature admirers. Place is organically self sustainable and the swimming pool is great.
