Thar Oasis Resort & Camp , Dechu - Jodhpur

It is a place that must be in the itinerary of every traveller. Rooms - we had opted for the camps in the desert, which was beautiful, well maintained, and clean. Service - It was great. The staff were professional. Location - Perfect ambience and location for a camp in the fringes of Thar.

We chose to stay at the desert camp associated with the main property, which shares a common reception area. The manager graciously provided us with a short tour of the beautifully maintained property. The desert drive, a highlight of our visit, also starts from this location. Throughout our stay, the staff were courteous and supportive, enhancing our overall experience.

My stay at this resort was quite disappointing overall. The rooms had a persistent bad smell, and the water wasn't clean, which was very off-putting. For the high price they charge, the experience falls short. The door locks didn't work properly, and there wasn't even a receptionist on-site - I had to call a cell phone for assistance every time. On top of that, the phone in the room didn't work, adding to the frustration. The location is completely isolated, with nothing around, and the resort itself is in serious need of maintenance. It felt like they were charging a hefty amount for nothing. The only saving grace was the breakfast and dinner, and the person who served them. While they didn't have a large menu or a buffet, the food was decent, especially in comparison to the rest of the service and condition of the property. However, even that doesn't justify the high price or the overall poor experience. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

My father stayed here consecutively twice and that too for a long duration & my mother and I joined him after a few days. The food, the hospitality and the rooms are worth every penny. We had such a comfortable stay and it's extremely peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend this property. Even during off season months they are taking care of maintenance and everything else exceptionally

Very nice resort. Watching the Demoiselle crane is an experience at Khichan Village. Very helpful staff especially the Sales manager.

Excellent Resort. Great service! The room was very spacious, clean, and had the impressive amenities we needed. Food was delicious and with many choices; it was a very wide buffet spread. The entire staff are very humble and helpful, The location is great- Beautiful nature and peacefully, Morning start and evening end with cool weather and nights with camp fire!! - fantastic time. I would recommend -you must visit here once to experience!!

The Clark's Exotica Dechu has resort and camp. I visited both. The resort is a beautiful property with sumptuous food. The camp site with tents gives the vibes of camping in desert. Food was good there too. I had a great experience. Mr. Vijender the general manager went an extra mile to assist us with our travel, thank u Sir. You are a thorough gentleman. |Suggestion for Clarks- the camp site needs to be maintained and renovated. The condition of tents and washroom was not great. It did not give the vibe of being a Clarks property, seemed like any other camp site and not value for money.

Blissful holiday |The staff at Munjoh Ocean Resort go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. Their warm hospitality was a highlight of my stay. The food was yummy and did not sit in the stomach heavy. The pizzas are surprisingly good. Overall, great value.
