Natraj Tourist Hotel" is the first landmark hotel on the main street next to Chittorgarh bus terminal having a large building accommodation, the largest hotel in the centre of Chittorgarh. Had arrived in the evening and the manager informed me that only a single A/C room was available and opted for the same although I detest cold weather including extreme A/C.This was a large sprawling 40 year old hotel, the oldest private hotel in Chittorgarh that had seen better day's and now in a rundown condition due to " Covid -19" tourist shortfall. " Room No 102" on the first floor where i was accommodated was the equivalent size of a Mumbai Studio flat with a high ceiling, aristocratic Old world construction design that is now extinct in the modern "Pigeon Apartments" era of living in Megapolis city's like Mumbai. . A/C was in excellent working condition and after a refreshing bathe headed onto the street in search for Non - veg food.Worth the rental charged and situated in the heart of Chittorgarh city with "Chittor Fort" in close proximity .Berach river which is excellent for "Bird Watching" is walking distance from the hotel . Only hope tourism picks up post "COVID-19" and the hotel is renovated from its present run-down condition otherwise like the ruins of "Chittor Fort" my review and photo could be the last review before the hotel is either demolished or sold .

Compared to other hotels in the area it's a good budget price. Overall it's not very nice but the slightly more expensive hotels in the area aren't really any nicer. It would really benefit from having wifi, but it seems that none of the budget hotels in the area do. Also the rooms are not very secure with broken screens and locks that don't work.
We paid Rs 450 for a night, for the smallest room with a western toilet in the Natraj. They had cheaper rooms (the one we were shown was not clean or pleasant) with squat toilets. Our room was very over-priced but we couldn't find an alternative budget hotel in Chittor.||The room was depressingly dingy and was not clean. We found rat droppings (a lot - not just one or two) on the spare bed. Fortunately the main bed was a little cleaner. Not much though - we were glad that we had our own sheets to put on top of theirs.||We only stayed one night and couldn't wait to get away. We were up and out before 7am the next day! ||The hotel is conveniently located if you are travelling by bus - ie it's right next to the bus station. The train station, however, is a long walk away. You'll also need an auto-rickshaw to get to the Fort (don't be fooled into letting them drop you at the first gate at the bottom of the hill - it's a long way up to the main gate!)||If you're in Chittor it's worth looking at the Fort. However, I don't think the Fort is worth a trip to Chittor, and it's definitely not worth spending a night at the Natraj for!
Nice to stay at lowest price as all the facilities included ac fridge water cooler TV but only large size room
Location is god but hotel is poorly maintained. Dont expect any ameneties. Regular AC room is better than Luxury rooms.
