There are few homestays which actually give you a true experience of living with the hosts' family members, and Rajmahal excels in giving you a warm hospitality from the moment you cross their threshold. With an extremely gentle and polite attitude, the two brothers Sourav ji and Gourav ji didn't give us a chance to feel incompatible with the new locality, even for a single moment. It was a very simple and basic room with all the basic amenities that one can possibly want in a small town, not-so-frequented by tourists or travellers. The bathroom is simple with hot water facilities. The terrace has a nice view of the fort of Bundi and the small lake in front of it.The food is home-cooked which can be customized to suit your palate, and is served hot, right from the hearth of the home-stay. ||Please do not expect fast, five-star hotel like service, when you are ordering your food, it is a home and has the license of remaining so.

Would not recommend. Rooms are dirty and very outdated, so are the beds/mattresses. The WiFi is slow, but the location is good. No vibe to be found in this place, owners don't speak English and you have to pay for toilet paper... A honest review by a western traveler.
Came to stay here for a few nights, and decided to come back and stay again later in my trip! Partly to experience Holi in Bundi, but also because Sourav and his family were so welcoming. The rooms are basic but have all the essentials, and home cooked food is available to eat up in the dining area. The location is good, and Bundi is so small you can walk to anywhere in town. Sourav was always ready to help with any advice, recommendations, ticketing, motorbike hire, cultural information and just for a chat! A hard working and genuine guy. I would definitely recommend this guesthouse for anyone visiting Bundi!
Even though the rooms are decent, you can find better accomodation for the same price in Bundi no problem.||The room didn't had any curtains so it got very bright during the morning. Not only that, this was by far the loudest place we have stayed in 2 months of India, even though people come to Bundi to relax and peace out.||Their were having construction INSIDE THE HOUSE from 9 am to late night. This is not a exaggeration... right now is 8pm and the hammer and electric cutters are still full power as I write this review. Why??||Honestly, skip this place. Bundi is beautiful but I'm not staying here when I come back.
We arrived here late at night and felt completely miserable as it was apparent that the room had not been cleaned for a very very long time. ||As there were no bed sheets, towels (or toilet roll) we asked the friendly owner for some. The smell of the sheets was rancid -- like old fried food and cigarettes. And for towels we were given one tea towel and a travel towel. Bizarre. ||We checked out very early the following morning. ||For 400rs per night we weren't expecting the Ritz. But a clean bed would have been nice.
Great budget guesthouse. Close to lake and fort. Simbu was very helpful and not pushy. Its budget but beds comfy and good space. It's a family place so you share social space with them but there's a roof space that's private. Loads of eating places nearby and very friendly people in this part of bundi. If want a guide check out Kukki, he's got a website and is excellent. Thanks simbu for your help.
We stayed about 10 days there.|To say it quickly, this place has LOT of potential !||But there are not carefully about guests and they do not take into account guest's advices.|It misses lots of things in all the room : bin, swipper, toilet brush, toilet papers...|Also, there is bad aeration in rooms, we can also say none. |We have a big room who SINKS a lot, and when we ask for aeration, they said that "it is aeration my friend" (which is not true, of course)||The wifi is also bad and slow there, and you can have hot water (if you are lucky enough) for... 3/4 minutes?||Furthermore, this place is sooooo noisy. Lots of noise in the night because of monkey shouting, dogs barking, vehicles...|But the family is also listening TV so loudy! What's wrong with that ?|We have lots of difficult and bad nights there.||Also, this place is huge ! They can do PLENTY of things for the guests !|We open a kitchen for the guests in the second floor (but we don't know if they will let it open), and gave them lots of ideas (chill place, book place, society game place, add table in the living room, give names to the rooms...)|But the owner is casual and not feeling concerned about it, really lazy, he was just sleeping and do not try to change things there.|We really hope that he will one day !||We also eat there, but the food is not good. For breakfast, we recommend you only the chai and curd banana.|Nevertheless, it's not really a restaurant. You have to wait lot of time for an average food. Do not eat there.||Anyway, rooms were cheap, and first we thought that this place was really really nice, and we started helping them (volunteers) and giving them lots of idea.|But then, it became weird and the owner told us to leave this place, what we did.||We did not recommend you this place.|A soul is missing there, because it's just about business, making money..|What a pitty ! So much wasted potential there...
I have stayed for 1 night in Rajmahal. It is good budget guest house. Good thing about this guest house is owner called me before my arrival at Bundi and came to pick me up which was nice gesture. There are scope for improvement which needs to take care.
