Hotel Haveli Braj Bhushanjee, A Heritage Hotel and Museum

Simply lovely haveli. So pretty and just below the fort so wonderful views. It was Holi and we came back totally covered in paint and they didn't mind at all. Very comfortable large room and bathroom and slept so well. Lovely shop. Lovely people. Lovely stay. Thank you

This is a historic property, well located in Bundi's town town centre.|We thought it was pricey given the type of accommodation, and breakfast was not in the package.|We also enjoyed a simple dinner at this hotel - moderatedy priced and good quality.|The owners and staff are pleasant and clearly very proud of the property, which boasts great art and history.|Our room was spacious and clean, with a large ensuite with walk-in shower. This hotel is characterful rather than flash, and there's a lovely view up to Bundi Palace (illuminated at night) from the courtyard and some of the rooms.|A good option for a short stay.

Very impressive heritage hotel. Carefully managed and beautifully decorated with art, sculptures and photographs. Wonderful views up to Fort. Our room was very large and magnificently furnished. The two managers and their staff were all attentive and helpful. An oasis of calm.

A very authentic haveli in old Bundi with lots of historical artefacts . Not luxurious, but comfortable with a basic breakfast offered. Evening vegetarian meals were tasty. The view of the fort in the evening is excellent. Tips for staff were asked to be not given individually, a central box made available in the entrance but the cook/porter/waiter was very upset when we did that. So make your own decisions about tipping.

This 1st haveli built in Bundi is in an excellent location for both the palace (standing tall just behind) and busy town. The staff are wonderful and the tourist rooms are generous in size and clean. The restaurant area is beautiful with traditional art and lighting features. A separate smaller building to the rear with several floors, exhibits further traditional bedrooms with beautiful artwork and characteristic architecture. There's also a shop selling artwork, scarves, shawls, bags etc on site. This haveli should be on any tour itinerary of Bundi.

Braj Bhushanjee Haveli is a beautiful old family home full of historical photos of Bundi and decorated with original artwork. The owners are lovely people, always ready to share their extensive knowledge of Bundi and its history. It is well located in one of the lovely backstreets of the old part of town, very close to the entry to the palace. We were very happy with our spacious room and comfortable bed. I definitely recommend it.

When making a reservation from home, before our trip, I instantly liked the feel of the hotel, just by seeing pictures. In only hesitated to book because of the price, it was Christmas and high season, but stil it was more expensive than other ones. Now that I have been there and stayed two nights I do understand the price and it is totally worth it! There are more haveli's in India but this haveli has been in the same family for 7 generations, so you don't sleep in a house that has been renovated like the old days, it is in fact still authentic like in the old days! They do have a newer part, with big spacious rooms, but ask for the old rooms if the authenticity is important to you. There are miniature paintings all over the building and in to the rooms, still in very good condition. So for me, this is kind of unique. Owners were also very friendly, we felt welcome in their heritage. Location is also great, you can walk up to Bundi Palace, which is a must see! You can easily spend two days in Bundi.

An overnight stay in Haveli Braj Bhushanjee while travelling to Udaipur from Ranthambore. A family home for a number and a hotel in the middle of the Old Town. The Haveli is run and owned by 2 brothers who provide a most enjoyable stay. The accommodation was in keeping with the original building and provided a comfortable stay.|Evening dinner and breakfast ensured we were well fed and although no alcohol was available in the hotel we enjoyed our meals.|This Haveli provides you with an authentic experience in the heart of Bundi.
