Haveli Uma Megh Tourist Guest House

The family is very friendly, kind, and attentive. The location is great. I loved the charm of the old house, eating in the garden in a peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful multicolored windows facing the lake of my room. I had a wonderful stay!

The place could be beautiful, but it sad to see what the owners are doing to it: dirty (when we arrived there were condoms in one of the beds), a lot of dust, the community bathroom also super dirty. We were some people and because of their mismanagement, and one day asked us to move in the rooms together (and my friend had to move within an hour, because other guests were already waiting), even though they confirmed before that we could stay until day XY. The other guests told us, they booked 10 days in advance. On our last day we asked if we could extend for two more nights and one person said yes and later in the night someone else came and said we need to move out the next day. One of us was really sick, so it was super exhausting for her to move. They didn't handle the situation well, but blamed us for it. Don't eat the food there. Small portions, not tasty. Would be a dream place if they would put more love in it. What a pity

Nice place, maybe a little bit over priced. Their restaurant around the lac is the best on it. When you go there is for the place do not expect to have a shower working properly or internet on the top floor.|They welcome you nicely however they don't help you to climb the high stairs with your bag.|Very helpful for renting the motorcycle.

The place is very quiet ,especially the garden and the view. I spent 9 days and i met so many nice people from different countries. Great time there

My third time in Bundi, but first time at this guest house. Stayed 11 nights. Friendly and professional people. No unpleasant surprises or hassles. Seems to attract longer term and repeat visitors. Rooms are old in a good way and have plenty of character and some come with great views. Garden is amazing and doubles as a restaurant that offers better-than-usual-tourist-place-food. Fires warm up both the guests and atmosphere during the cooler evenings and days. The area is - by Indian standards - quiet at night. Chai and samosa are always close by, as is the palace. Both the linens and mattresses have seen better days, but the value is very, very good here. The shower in my room was pretty much non-working, but hot water bucket was easy enough to fill.

An absolute gem! My first room was a little small and dark, but still fine. I highly recommend choosing a double room with a lake view as it's still incredible value for money and such a fantastic, historic haveli. All the staff were wonderful, helpful and kind. Taking breakfast, chai or a meal by the lake is a wonderful way to escape the hustle and bustle of beautiful Bundi. Go stay, you won't be disappointed!

What a dreadful place. It was recommended by travellers & reviews looked good but the room we had did not match any of these reviews. It was dirty. The tap didn't turn off. There was used soap in the soap dish, linen was stained & dirty. Toilet filthy. And a mosquito breeding ground. Single beds booked & only a double. Garden view was a joke. We couldn't stay here and moved on an hour after arriving. A heated discussion ensued & he blocked us in until we had paid in full. No recommendation from us!

Our stayin at Uma Megh Haveli was wonderful. I can't even say how gentle the staff is!|When I was ill they brought me food as room service for free and suggested me the nearest ayurvedic hospital.|The location of the gueshouse is perfect, indeed: lake view and few minute walking to the main market.|I expecially adored the terrace on the rooftop, and we spent beautiful afternoons there drinking chai, reading and havin sun tan!|The indoor restaurant serves delicious food and tasty breakfasts.|Thank you guys, well done!
