Bundi Vilas

I cannot imagine there is a better place to stay with better hospitality. The staff is just perfection. For Westerners, this is not a classic Western hotel and the shower is not the pressure you are used to and the water takes time to heat up. If that is ok with you then the rooms are beautiful and spacious enough. Please note you are staying literally connected to the Garh Palace. The chef is fantastic. For dinner, get the chef's tasting. You can dine on the roof looking at the Garh Palace illuminated above you. One of the best dining views ever.

This hotel and restaurant in Bundi exceeded all our expectations. The vegetarian food was, without a doubt, the best we've ever had. With each meal, Chef Mohamed surprised us with delicious and unique creations. Enjoying these flavors while admiring the spectacular view of Bundi Fort illuminated at night was simply unforgettable. ||The service was impeccable. Vishnu was always attentive and kind, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and offered a warm, traditional ambiance. Without a doubt, this is the best food and the best view in Bundi. ||I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bundi. A truly unique experience!

Bundi Vila is a great accommodation in Bundi. The staff takes perfectly care of any of your needs. Rooms are very clean and cosy. It is somehow a challenge to find the entrance to the Haveli as Bundi Vilas is hidden behind several houses. However there is a good sign at the corner of the road just behind a big gate - you will find it. |The greatest experience it the food at the wonderful top roof terrace - and when I say experience it is a real experience what Mohammad the Chef of the kitchen is bringing to your table. Enjoying a dinner in front of the Bundi fort beams you away from all your daily challenges.

Bundi Vilas is a magical Heritage Haveli that must be experienced to be fully appreciated. My husband and I were privileged to enjoy 3 nights of exceptional hospitality, and delicious meals served with wine or beer under the stunning and imposing backdrop of Bundi Palace. Hosted by the wonderful and congenial Manager, Vishnu (for whom nothing was too much trouble) and the very kind and marvelous Chef, Mohamed who prepared fresh and delectable, vegetarian meals, we were transported to another time and place. While not a five start hotel, our room was lovely, spacious, comfortably appointed, clean, and a very cool place to stay! The charming and ancient City of Bundi is off the tourist radar but surprisingly a very special stopover between Udaipur and Ranthambhore. A visit to Bundi Vilas with such hospitable hosts offers an incredible glimpse into today's India continuing to honor a very rich cultural heritage. Loved it. The Bundi Villas is the perfect little bolt hole in what has to be one of Rajastans best kept secrets. Compared to the better known hotpots like Jaipur, Bundi is quiet, friendly, easy to get around and unconjested and unpolluted. Yep, you did just read that.|The villas are an original Haveli, rooms and charming, there's a great indoor and outdoor dining terrace (indoor offering shade from the sun and 'protection' from the many monkeys). The views up to Bundi Palace that towers immediately above are wonderful, especially at night.|Nothing was too much trouble for the manager Vishnu, a lovely guy. As was Mohamed in the kitchen whose range of Indian and speciality Rajasthan dishes were the best food of my entire trip.

I checked into this charming hotel nestled away in Bundi. Mohammed and his helper were so welcoming and did everything to make my stay perfect. Mohammed is also the Master Chef and a fantastic cook. His breakfast & dinner were outstanding. Everything was cooked fresh to order. It was served with a view looking up at the Palace. He took such pride in making the experience wonderful for each guest. He was so attentive & friendly. I would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at Bundi Vilas for 2 nights and I highly recommend it. It is very clean and comfortable with outstanding views of the palace from the roof terrace restaurant. No other hotel has such a good view. The food cooked by Mohammed was delicious and I recommend having dinner here even if you are not staying in the hotel. The service was very good with very friendly people and the manager Vishnu was really excellent helping us to make the most of our stay in Bundi. He recommended a great guide called Narendra who took us round Bundi and was very knowledgeable about the history and the beautiful frescos. Bundi is a magical place and Bundi Vilas is a very special place to stay. Definitely a highlight of our trip

What a great place we had the most amazing time here. Vishnew, Mohammed and team were terrific. It's a climb up to the villas but well worth it, a beautiful furnished Haveli a warm welcome by Vishnew rooms beautiful and a great shower. The highlight of this boutique hotel is the chef Mohammed every meal was delicious he even makes his own jam !!!! I highly recommend this stunning Haveli
