Hotel Swagatam (Heritage Hotel)

With my family members, I stayed at hotel Swagatam in Bikaner from 27-28 December 2024. The Room was spacious, bathroom was neat and clean. We were accommodated in a spacious room with one double bed and one single bed for the three of us. It is a blend of classy heritage look with nice modern amenities. The owner Shri Ghanshyam ji is very humble and cooperative. We reached the hotel in early morning at 06.00 a.m and amazed to see that the owner Shri Ghanshyam Ji was waiting at the main gate to welcome us. He has arranged the early check-in which none of the hotel will provide. I would recommend this hotel ideal for staying in Bikaner, near Railway Station.

Good hotel for a budget stay, near the train station, just 3-4 mins walking distance, in a nice old Indian style house (haveli) which is close by the old city of bikaner, around 10 mins walking distance. The area was good, grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants all around the place, so anything you need is out of the hotel door step. Staff are nice and really helpful, the only issue that only one of them who comes from the afternoon speaks good enough english to communicate, but that doesn't mean this is not amazing, The staff is one of the most amazing people I met in India.

Proprietor Ghanashyam Jii and his son are outstandingly gentlemen with excellent behaviour. From outside busy station road when you will enter inside the hotel you will be amaized of the atmosphere of a Haveli. So romantic! I felt, I entered a historical past. Around 05.00a.m we reached at the hotel and Ghanshyam Jii welcome us openning the main gate.Amazing moments that was. He opened room no 6, which was quite large and appropriate for my family members. The room is royal with equally fantastic bathroom. We stayed in this hotel from 05.00a.m 29/10/2024 to 31/10/2924 05.00 a.m, perfectly for 48 hours. I shall recommend this hotel ideal for staying in Bikaner, near Rail Station. We are very happy for selecting this property. Only thing a teaveller must do is if you book the hotel over phone, clarify the room size, persons allowed in the room and tariff clearly with the manager. Ask him details about booking and tariffs of rooms as from distant place it is not possible to understand the size ans persons accommodated in one room. Experience of staying in Hotel Swagatam is absolutely fantastic overall.

I have booked the hotel on 3rd of july 2022 for the dates 8 july to 9 July from Agoda to survive the last moment rush as i had an exam.. the price of property was 800 for ac rooms.. when i reached to the property on 8th of july the owner flatly refused to give me AC room for 800 and said the price of AC room is increased to 1200 .. i told her that i have booked AC room for two on 3rd of july according to the listing price of this hotel on that day with AC as the room facility listed by the owner on agoda.. they came to know that by mistake they listed AC as facility..as it was clearly their mistake , inspite of apologizing and keep their promise to customer the owner forced me to pay 800 for the non ac air cooling room.. eventually after much debate i paid 600 for horrible stay what it didn't worth a single penny..defying the rules, forced me to vacate the room at 10am ..on the name of air cooling the room was too hot to stay.. cleanliness was good but the bed was full of aunts and room was full of mosquitoes ..I spent the night itchy itchy in the sweltering heat..4 Rating given is lollipop of appearance that has no relation to reality..(By law such people should be dragged to consumer court)

Thats what u call a home away from home......not worth to be called a hotel.....blend of classy heritage look with nice modern amenities......what else at such cheap price......wish to see this grow in all axis....X Y Z....just a small suggestion.....please come up with a small restaurant to njoi the typical bikaneri food n cuisines if possible

This is a beautiful hotel with a amazing staff and quick response. I will visit again. Thus is best location in the city with best price you can get.
