Decision of choosing The Lallgarh Palace was the best decision of Bikaner one day trip.||To start with they upgraded us to suite and that made our day. Very big room opposite to garden. Thank you.||Hotel is real palace where royal family still lives, rooms are large, comfortable. Extreme hot in Bikaner in May first week and rooms AC were just perfect and comfortable. In fact entire hotel was not that hot compared to outside temperature.||Now comes the food, it was most delicious food we had in long time. Even though we have tasted north indian food at many places, this place just tops the list. Kudos to Chef, Dal Makhani was THE BEST we have ever had, if you are visiting this hotel, just close the eyes and have Dal Makhani, Paneer curry and Tandoori Missi Rotis, you and your families will love it.||Area of improvement:|Even though everything is good here, one problem is they do not have arrangements for drivers. If you have a car with driver then you will face problems here. We had to search nearby options for our driver and finally found Hotel Kalinga near this hotel. I have to deduct one star just because of this problem.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely palace. The ambience, food, staff are all excellent. The palace, its surroundings are awesome and majestic apart from being serene. ||We tried booking online but couldn't succeed. Upon a few email exchanges and phone calls with Mr. Sanjay Vyas, we were able to get confirmation and upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the reception team when they upgraded us to a much bigger & spacious rooms. Later at check out, Mr. Rajender Singh who mentioned that he has been working at this hotel for a few decades, told us a few anecdotes related to the celebrities who had stayed in the very rooms they had upgraded to us ! ||Overall, our stay was comfortable and memorable as there was lively Rajasthani folk music and dance performance which we enjoyed with some delicious Rajasthani cuisine. The breakfast spread was excellent and very tasty as well
Great hotel with a great scenic review from roof. Large indoor pool and comfortable rooms. Great catering. Hotel close to the fort and lake with spectacularviews from roof top restaurant. Super helpful staff. Rooms we large with air conditioning and ceiling fans. Bathroom well appointed.
Lovely palace hotel. Room was large and clean with fan. Bathroom was old and bathtub has been repaired but not in a proper way. Dining area was small and dark. Diner buffet and breakfast buffet were ok. There was no water in the swimming pool. All rooms are different in size and colors.
We stayed here for 4 nights in January 2025, to attend a wedding that was held on the property. Was expensive for what you get, although the actual building itself is spectacular, with interesting historical displays in each hallway. Service was so-so. The room was large but with an awkward layout. No full length mirror in the room. Bathroom lighting was poor and no magnifying mirror - tough for putting on makeup. No black-out curtains on the room's frosted windows (which faced a lit hallway) and so the room was very light at night with no way to darken it. We saw a mouse in the dining room one morning at breakfast! Loud "traditional" music and drumming in the courtyard each night, so if you want an early bedtime, you better bring ear plugs.
This Palace in Bikaner is the place where you can feel India's greatness. Big rooms, friendly staff, great pool and a museum you should not miss. The only thing needs to be improved is the restaurant and the variety of the food. And of course the coffee...
It's a heritage building converted into a hotel. It's a good place to stay and I find nothing out of order. Rooms are very big with a full size mirror, hot running water, and other amenities. I like the hotel very much.
It felt there is a lot of discrimination at this palace hotel for Indian guests and the management just wants to cater to the "non-Indian" tourists in awe of more tips. The service at the hotel was pathetic wherein we had to wait multiple times for more than 2 hours for getting the most basic things like coffee / extra bed setup / hot water for shower which we had paid for. We were even not served the welcome drinks while other "non Indian" guests were. The palace itself is pretty nice and historic to stay at and rooms were very clean too.
