I have enjoyed the stay here and below is my feedback. I have arrived by train from Jodhpur and took tuktuk (500 inr/40 min drive). In total I went to 6 safari drives (3 in the morning and 3 in the evening) with Rajveer and stayed for 3 nights. Due to the hot season in April the leopard spotting was much better in the early morning, for me it was 50% chances. All thanks to a very experienced host who's animal spotting and offroad driving skills are incredible. His 4x4 Suzuki can go almost everywhere. Daily I was served homemade veg meals & tasty juices. All in all I think if you stay here and go on safari (at least a few times) - it is one of the best opportunities to spot wildlife (like leopards or birds or prey) in this area. But you have to go more than once to increase chances and bring a decent camera if you want to snap a good photo (400-600mm lens at least). The lodge/room itself is big but pretty simpel, has wifi, AC, fans and a washroom. The only downside I can think of is the mattress which was not comfortable to sleep on (thin and hard). Overall a highly recommended experience for wildlife enthusiasts!

The location was absolutely amazing! We woke up with ton of peacocks in and around the property and the view is beautiful there is also a cave which is visible from the property occasionally has leopard spotting. The food was one of the best we have ever had and the host made sure we had the best view to see the leopards on our safari. Even after spotting them he made sure we got a more clear and better view of them
I booked this homestay after reading the reviews, but I am highly disappointed. I paid 4500 for one day, including all meals, but it was not even worth 2000. I feel I overpaid because I booked directly instead of using an online platform, where the price for one day was around 1200. This means I ended up paying 3300 just for three meals, one of which we skipped, but no compensation was provided. Issues Faced: 1. No toiletries were provided--we had to request soap and towels. We were given just one towel for four people and had to ask for drinking water as well. 2. Breakfast included only poha, which was disappointing. I have never stayed at a hotel that includes breakfast and serves only poha. 3. The TV was not working (which was acceptable), but the AC remote was difficult to control. The toilet was not clean. 4. The property does not have a swimming pool, and the image of a pool in their listing is misleading. They should delete it About host: Rajveer is good but he has to learn more about hospitality and should learn from his father who was good. Positive Aspects: Dinner was good. The location was nice. The safari experience was enjoyable. Overall, I do not recommend staying at this homestay unless you are okay with constantly calling the host for basic amenities that should be provided in any homestay or hotel by default. Also I feel I overpaid.
Location is fabulous and his property also includes a big Rocky Mountain in backyard where one can climb up on foot or through gypsy to see leopards or one can simply sit in backyard or terrace to see leopards As Rajveer is the owner of property and has his own gypsy, one doesn't have to go anywhere else to book a safari. Food was also very good. It was a very good experience . If you want to see leopard in jungle no one is better person then him... he is so skillfull n nice person ... just booking your stay there n enjoy a very unique experience
Our stay was absolutely incredible! The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with fresh linens, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing experience. Located right beside the family house within a secure compound, we felt safe and at ease throughout our stay. The property is also ideally situated, just a 5-minute drive from the safari area. The highlight of our trip was the unforgettable night safari. Raajveer guided us deep into the jungle and, with his expertise, made sure our trip was a success--we were thrilled to spot a leopard! The host and their family were exceptionally warm, responsive, and attentive, making us feel right at home. The home-cooked meals they provided were simple yet delicious, adding a delightful personal touch to our experience. A heartfelt thank you to Raajveer and his family for making this one of the best anniversaries we've ever celebrated. We're already looking forward to returning!
Impeccable service, we had a problem with our motorcycle and they came to get us with a good team without asking us anything back and welcomed us with a good "Chi" the famous Indian tea . Then they organized us a safari to the park to see the Leopard. I will not forget this feeling to cross the eyes of this Leopard that I saw for the First time in my life. An unforgettable experience. Thank you team
Fantastic experience in this wonderful family owned guest house. I did see leopards twice during the 2 safaris organised by the guest house ! A dream that came true . Also the food cooked and provided is so yummy. This is a very relaxing place to stay in a tiny village and the host will help you organise the transfers from Jawai Bandh railway station or to bus station in Bijapur if needed.
I took the 6:15 morning train from Jodhpur to Jawai Bandh railway for 75Rs. I then walked/hitch all the way to the Lodge in Sena district. You can also take a few buses (don't think one goes all the way) or tuk tuk as this is 15kms. The lodge only charged 1000Rs for a decent room with 3 meals in an amazing location. Supposedly sometimes sitting on the hill behind his house you can see the leopard and it's a great place for sunrise. He charges 3000 for the jeep safari which is the cheapest I found. Unfortunately I was the only client so I could share the jeep. The owner drove me on the back of his moto to Bijapur 6 kms when I left where you can catch a bus to Sadri, Pindwara 75Rs or Sumerpur. He waited with me until I caught the bus and then I caught forward transport to Udaipur.
