Hotel Bijay Niwas Palace

My stay here this past weekend was lovely. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. This place is a little hidden jewel between Ajmer and Udaipur. As a solo female traveler, I very much appreciated the hospitality, kindness, and helpfulness of the staff. They were very respectful and considerate of my needs, as I had an event I had to attend nearby and they helped with transportation. The room and bathroom was spacious and comfortable. I thought the price was a great value for the service and place. I definitely would like to return to see the river that forms near the grounds after the monsoon season.

Sadly we only spent one night in this beautiful hotel. It is a small Palace (formerly a hunting lodge) still run by the former Maharaja and Maharani of Masuda (they no longer use the titles). The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden, full of exotic birds and other fascinating wildlife. The food was delicious and our room was beautiful. There is a lovely swimming pool. They also offer spa treatments, cookery lessons and local sight-seeing trips.

Romantic hotel in peaceful countryside. Our hosts were very attentive. We took the opportunity of a ride on an ox cart to the local village past the farmlands and a cooking lesson- the results of which turned up in our thali later that evening. Really lovely stay, wish we had been able|To extend it to a couple of nights. Good chill out between Jaipur and Jodhpur.

The host was very helping and polite. They accommodated all our requests. We stayed in their heritage suite. Loved loved loved their dinner. It never had such an amazing meal. Its a unique boutique place for those who like to stay for some peaceful time out of busy weekdays. I am 100% staying again.

A really tranquil sanctuary in peaceful countryside. We stopped for lunch, beautiful food sourced from their own land. Such a lovely welcome. We were given the choice of eat inside or out, we chose outside. We loved watching the wildlife, what a variety of birds and playful chipmunks. We then saw the extraordinary bee hives in the trees. A truly memorable experience. Wish we could have stayed longer

A beautiful old building in a rural location.|We had a suite, which was huge for two people.|Very friendly and helpful staff. It was a good rest for us between Jaipur and Jodphur and a complete contrast to the chaos and bustle of the cities we had already visited.||We had one full day just to relax, we ate lunch by the swimming pool, walked around the organic farm and had a ride to a local village in a bullock cart.||As it was winter dinner could be inside or outside, we ate outside next to a fire pit. ||It's charming and relaxing, don't go expecting a five star resort..|We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed a stop over between Jodhpur and Agra. It was lovely stay an old world charm. Good food graciously hosted by Mrs. Singh. Took me to the days of the raj. Came to know that the owners are the patrilineal descendants of the brother of Mirabai knowing about their history was a plus

Amazing stay! Highly recommend. Great food, amazing pool, comfortable rooms. Highlight experience of our bicycle tour of India. Feeling brand new! Place was peaceful and quiet which was so appreciated after the hustle and noise of cities. A tranquil oasis.
