One of the best, neat and clean guest houses in Bharatpur conveniently located within walking distance to the Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary. Run by a travel professional Mr.Avdesh Avasthi and his elder brother, they've only improved their property over the years and that is why more and more people find the lodge very comfortable to stay in. Their cook cum manager Bhagwan Swaroop is a wonderful person who works hard to keep his guests happy all the time. If you're on a budget and want to stay at comfortable and homely place in Bharatpur then you do not need to go elsewhere.

Located in Bharatpur, Sanctaury Tourist Lodge offers a peaceful escape from the city with a great atmosphere, attentive staff and amazing host and owner Rajesh Awasthi. This home stay make you feel right at home, the thing you may not get it in a 3 or 4 star hotel. The dining area is great and the food was simply awesome. You will get a perfect home food. The rooms are spacious with a comfortable king-size bed .The room was well-equipped with all the essentials -- high-speed Wi-Fi, TV and heater during winter. Service throughout our stay was impeccable. The owner Rajesh Awasthi went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The attention to detail in both the cleanliness and hospitality was outstanding. It is on prime location just neat the Bird sanctuary and it is so reasonably priced. The guest house offers a perfect blend of relaxation, comfort, and service, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking to travel.Whether you're here for a short weekend or an extended stay, it's a place that promises to deliver a memorable experience. Highly recommended.

Spend a night at the Sancutary Tourist lodge. To date this has been the cleanest place I've stayed in whilst travelling in India. Rooms are basic, clean and spacious. Internet is good with no dropouts. The owner speaks good English and eagerly assists his guests. I opted for an English breakfast due to not being able to tolerate Indian spices. The lodge is located on the outskirts of town so you will need to get a tuk tuk to get to the centre, please don't pay any more than 50R

If you are looking for a budget stay in Bharatpur , sanctuary tourist lodge is the place for you. It's very conveniently located , close to sanctuary and the highway. There are only five rooms so one has to book in advance. The owner is very courteous and helps with all the needs of birders , bird photographers and tourists in general. The rooms are adequately sized with attached washrooms. There is a dining hall where delicious food is served as per order. The dining is only for house guests.

The lodge is located less than 500 mtes away from the sanctuary gate. Very good and economical place.The rooms are basic, but neat and clean.||Prefer room on the upper floor which are newly made.only thing missing is an cupboard(room however has ample provision to hang clothes) ||Food was pure veg and homely. Service was excellent. Mr. Avasthi takes good care of his guests and offers all the help needed. ||

A simple no fuss and budget stay option in Bharatpur. Owner Rajesh ji's personal attention and hospitality makes it a great place. Rooms are neat and clean. It has full board option that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Break fast and lunch are sent inside park. North Indian food is delicious and served hot. We can order food items a day before. Highly recommend for birders who need a place closer to park.

Clean and neat rooms. On the dot service, homely food made to guests' taste. Walkable distance from the Bharatpur Sanctuary main gate - good arrangements for nearby sight seeing etc. Very resourceful owner.

Recently visited Bharatpur and stayed at Santuary Tourist Lodge. Mr Awasthi the owner and all his staff made our stay really very comfortable by providing spotless clean rooms including bathrooms. Taking about the food we didn't feel we were away from our home. The food was delicious and very homely. They prepare according to your taste and serve you as per your time. They also have cycles to visit Bird sanctuary which is hardly 500m from their location for which they charge Rs 200/- per cycle for whole day. You would save lots money by doing a cycle trip to watch the birds. The e rickshaw charge Rs 800 for two hours and there should be four persons in that including your guide and after 2 hours it increases a lot. If you are on a cycle you would save all those extra spending which I myself expirenced it. It was lovely weather to do bird watching on cycle. If you are also planning trip to Bharatpur I would recommend Santuary Tourist Lodge which gives everyone at home feeling.
