This place is absolutely packed with character. The rooms themselves are basic but full of life so very enjoyable for a short stay. The hotel is located very close to the bird sanctuary so was an ideal quick stop for us. The pool area is nice and the food was very very good in the restaurant. Would definitely stay again.

The heritage property is well maintained. We booked a suite so rooms & toilets were clean & spacious giving you a proper vibe of royalty their dinning place also gives you very nice vibes. My only advice is go in the group as the place doesn't have much to offer its a calm quiet place which gives you full vibes of the Palace.

This property is nothing but a scam wrapped in beautiful architecture. The hospitality and services were shockingly poor. Apart from its architecture, this resort has nothing worthy of a 4-star rating. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. I was a guest at my friend's wedding. The key issues we as a group of guests faced were- - Staff constantly expecting tips. - No hot water between 10 AM - 5 PM. - Frequent power cuts. - No WiFi in the rooms. - No irons in rooms - Electricity in halls was cut off after midnight.

Beautiful large hotel with amazing architecture. The hotel has a lot of space and old style royal architecture and furniture. The service os good and the rooms sre huge with big bathrooms. The dining hall is beautiful with chandeliers etc. The rooms are very tasteful and have nice old photos and carpets.|We had a room in the new wing and it was a great blend of heritage and modernity. Ample parking 5 minutes drive to the bird sanctuary. The bar is very beautiful and tastefully kept. A wonderful place to relax and visit bird sanctuary too. Probably the best hotel in Bharatpur. The food and breakfast was good too. In addition a very nice gesture of free high tea between 4.30pm to 5.30pm every evening is quite unique with nice sandwiches and snacks. Well kept gardens add to the charm of this hotel. Would be a great destination hotel for weddings and conferences too.

The location looks great, but that's where the magic ends and reality kicks in. The service is far from what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. I've had much better experiences at far more affordable stays. The price-to-hospitality ratio is simply disappointing. I understand the need for environmental consciousness, but hot water should be available on demand. Limiting it to just the morning and sometimes in the evening is unacceptable, especially in a city-based hotel that advertises itself as 4-star. Guests pay for comfort, including the freedom to take a bath whenever they want. This is a basic expectation, not a luxury. Room service was another letdown. I called a couple of times, specifically requesting 8-9 glasses and 6-7 bottles of water. I get that it might seem like a large request, but when you have 8-9 people (all hotel guests btw) in a two-room connected setup (with a total capacity of 5 beds) and they're having a gathering, it's a reasonable ask. Instead, we were given just 2 bottles and 2 glasses. I understand Rajasthan has water concerns, but surely, asking for a liter of water per person isn't too much? Wi-Fi was barely functional, but hey, it's not like this is a 4-star hotel... oh wait, it is. All of this could still be overlooked, but what was absolutely unacceptable was the intrusion of foreign tourists into my friend's wedding. We were all dancing in the baraat when we noticed some foreigners clicking photos from a distance, which was fine. However, they kept getting closer, guided by a hotel staff member who was seemingly giving them a firsthand tour of an Indian wedding. What's worse, no one from the hotel asked for permission from the bride or groom's family. This was a PRIVATE event, yet it did not feel private when uninvited strangers were allowed to enter and take pictures. Now, I don't blame the foreigners--they may have been misled into thinking this was acceptable, possibly even "tipped" the hotel staff for the experience. But the hotel's role in this is completely unacceptable. Had they simply asked, perhaps the family would have been okay with it. I'm certain if we tried the same thing at a private wedding in another country, it would make headlines. Overall, this hotel needs serious improvements in both service and ethics.

Great location , good food and spacious rooms. |Should have kids activity room as well which is missing right now. Maybe camel rides for kids or some other activities. Staff if courteous and bird sanctuary is hardly a 5min drive. Great option for a weekend getaway from gurgaon

The hotel is good and I will visit again ||The thing that's feel short was the service in the restaurant because of the Restaurant manager - Chander Dutta. His attitude was not acceptable and he wouldn't want to meet our eye just in case he needed to provide service. ||This definitely is not good for this otherwise good hotel which actually provides a lovely ambience, comfortable stay and good food. |I hope the management would pay attention to correct this.

What a fake 4 star hotel it is. They are scamming us in the name of non-existent luxury. The rooms look beautiful but that's all, this is where the luxury ends. Don't expect anything more. We booked the entire property for a wedding function and the overall experience was very unpleasant. Few things to consider before paying loads of money to this property: 1. Tip hungry staff. 2. No hot water between 10 am and 5 pm. 3. Frequent power cuts. 4. Extremely rude management, especially the manager Rameshwar. 5. No wifi in rooms. 6. Were not allowed to use electricity in halls after 12 am. 7. No iron was present in the rooms and were charged extra for ironing service. 9. Tours were running for the property during the marriage function for un invited visitors without our permission. 10. The property had no room layout map. 11. We weren't allowed to use the pool, even after booking the entire property. After paying a hefty amount to a 4 star heritage property, you expect good hospitality and few basic services which are absent on this property. The management is very rude and ignorant of these important things. The property shouldn't be considered a 4 star as apart from having beautiful architecture it has nothing close to being a 4 star property. I highly recommend against booking this property.
