Hotel Pratap Palace bharatpur, I was trying to book RTDC hotel saras, during the search I find this hotel as a similar property with all good reviews, so I opt this hotel for one-night stay. This is a good budget hotel with all facility, clean room and bathroom, room and bath room size also good, we have taken room with attached balcony. Our room equipped with a tea table, sofa, bed and a cupboard, on request they have provided extra chair, blanket and pillow. Staff all are very helpful, we have our home-made food with us, on request they make it hot and serve for us. Location is on highway only 5 min walking from keoladeo bird sanctuary, No TV and no mirror in the room, you have to use bathroom mirror only, also basin water drainage is poor it come to your feet. another negative about this hotel is the morning coffee was too bad, less sugar, less coffee dust and made in water only, milk added only for colour. We have taken snacks only, so no idea about food quality, but as per menu chart it is slightly over priced. But over all a average budget place to stay.

We stayed at Pratap Palace for one night. We just came with no prior booking. Everyone was friendly and helpful. ||||The room was nice, with hot water, TV with English channels, lots of blankets, towels, shampoo etc. ||||They have a restaurant in the hotel. The food was all right but not freshly cooked, so there is still place for improvement. Although masala chai was very good and could be ordered right to the room. ||||The location is good. 10 minutes walk from Birds Sanctuary.

The rooms look fairly clean but the bathrooms were quite dirty. The toilet was not convenient to use since the water jet in the commode was not functional. Also the toilet seat could not be kept open, it repeatedly fell. The taps were also unclean and closing the taps after washing hands felt like I was dirtying my hands again. The behavior of the staff was also very bad and they were mostly unhelpful. For the amount that they charged for a one night stay, my overall experience was bad. The only saving grace was a good fast wifi along with good food which is why I give it two stars instead of one.

We have stayed at Hotel Pratag Inn for two says now with conflicting opinions.|Day 2 has been a disaster. We were given a black and white print out of a quick write up for a complimentary breakfast which I am sure they created last minute last night. This includes picking one item from the list and one cup of drink. This included only being able to get one slice of bread OR one masala omelette... but not both. Have a look at the photo that my brother was served: it was tiny and he is a fully grown man. It seriously had not been started. ||I asked to forfeit the drink and have a paneer paratha with a masala omelette but that wasn't possible. Complete shame since our last place was trying to feed us like we were starving children. ||Drinks menu didn't even have juice. Just a cup of tea, coffee or hot milk. ||Crazy as we have intentionally bought a hotel with inclusive breakfast. This is completely appalling. (To be more annoying we paid $62 each night for 4 nights opposed to $35 on this site). ||We also enquired about laundry which totalled 700 rupees. Okay... we thought this was fair. After they had taken it to the laundry mat they tell us they got the price wrong and were about to charge 1600 rupees (very expensive even for the city) for the same content. I was not happy! They ended up charging the original price of 700 rupees when I said I wanted my dirty washing to come back to our room. (What a joke... never increase the price once it has been agreed and then take it to be cleaned without confirming the purchase).|We must admit it was very well washed, dried and ironed by their laundry assistant. ||The room in the other hand is very clean. We are in the new building out the back which is currently in the midst of construction. It will be perfect in a couple of years when the whole thing is finished. A part of the construction is the shower part doesn't quite work yet. We have to shower using a bucket and scoop. The water is hot and refills in about 30 mins if you run out. The place is clean and the bed sheets are clean in our room. There has been different opinions in other posts. |||My brother is on a mattress on the floor. I believe one of the workers has forfeited their bed and potentially their blankets if you ask for too many spares though. (That is beyond our expectations so we gave one back to him). I believe the worlds need to be looked after before they can be expected to care for their guests. ||The workers came out and played a little round of badminton with us on request. They were dedicated to their work as they raced back as soon as they suspected someone might be arriving. This shows they were diligent to fulfilling all their duties. ||The workers have all been friendly so far and we have tipped them fairly for their efforts. We were a bit dumbfounded by the appalling breakfast and laundry ordeal today that we didn't tip at all. We do not want to be used to make money as we have been very generous. ||I'll compare this to day 1 where we were shown a great room, had an extra bed made up for my brother on the floor. They made the bed, brought up extra blankets and one guy even made a swan from the towels. They provided us with toilet paper as that was not in the room, they went out of their way to get all the parts for dinner we ordered off the menu. We had a wonderful breakfast which was not unlike breakfasts from other stays during our trip. We ordered a masala omelette, paneer parantha (cheese bread), lassi and a masala tea. I didn't think this was over the top. The expectations were shot down the following day. I think they believe we have more money than brains but they are wrong. ||For a nice meal you can head to the birders inn. Just next door two buildings towards the bird park. They do a buffet, they treat you well and feed you until you are full. They come around and offer more and more. It's much nicer to have to say 'I have had enough to eat' than to be hungry before lunch because they have decided to be scabs and not feed you a proper meal.

I stayed in this hotel in Jan Month for 4 days just only knowing thst it's located close to the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. The room is very basic ..the electrical hygiene of the room was really poor, the plug points were hanging by wires. The room was not cleaned daily. The cost of food is much higher compared to what you get eg. a cup of tea costs 35.00...way beyond. I felt it was not even good for a solo stay forget thinking about bringing family to this hotel.

Great rooms and wonderful service. The staff is always on their toes to help you. Food is wonderful, loved the Chili Chicken and Chicken-Do-Pyaza. The place is in walking distance from the Kaladeo Ghana Bird Century and Rope Castle Adventure park. Room has a TV with Set top box, the bathroom is spacious and clean.

We did booking through booking.com . Two days for 5500/ - I am not sure of any star but it's a local lodge.Room was fine and Tv shows only free channels, excluding Doordarshan.||Every evening we would run out of water and need to call and tell them same. ||The food was good and so does the owner. ||You will be happy if you do not have any High expectations. ||For the cost we paid , it pinched little in pocket for the services we get. But it's only 10 min walk from National Park so that money saved.
