The Resort is located in the hamlet of Bera, near the Jawai river and dam, an area teaming with wildlife. We stayed in a stand-alone chalet which was large, clean and comfortable. We were there to view the animals and birds and the Resort did a splendid job. In total, we had 6 safaris in 3.5 days, early morning and late afternoon. In all we had 12 leopard sightings: Neelum, Zhia, and a couple of random males intent on mating. We also saw Black (Sloth) Bear, hares and other small game and many, many birds. Our naturalist, Irfan and driver/guide Utham were fantastic at spotting the game and then explaining their habits and preferences, and were very relaxed and friendly. Everything was well organised. The hotel and catering staff offered service with a smile. ||Our visit was at the end of April/early May. If you can stand the heat (43C / 109F), this is a good time to go as there were not many other tourists around. Safaris are in dusty, off-road areas in 4-wheel drive vehicles. I would not recommend this activity for people with bad backs or women in late-stage pregnancy.

The overall stay at the property was good. The hotel staff, including Ravi and Suresh bharti from the front desk, chef kishan pal and server Dilkhush were all very polite and took extra efforts to make our stay comfortable. The property is peaceful with good rooms and in-room amenities. While the breakfast spread was limited due to low occupancy, it was tasteful. Their A la-carte menu is extensive enough and the food is decent. |The spa and their 'Under the Sky' restaurant was shut due to maintenance so it's best to check before booking.
It was overwhelming to stay at such a beautiful property. Food was beyond the taster,Mr. chef bhawar singh ji was also so welcoming with his receipes. Front office staff Mr.Suresh Bharti and Ravi Meena were superp at their hospitality whenever we required. Mr. Anuj at the F & B counter was always ready to serve whatever we required out of the menu available at the time. Will revisit in future and highly recommended for others
Amazing experience We went there with my whole family and it's amazing for every age group Especially the safari, they were way better than the other safaris we met in the jungle as our guide was spotting and telling others where they can find it. Most of the other safaris were not able to spot it. The stargazing through the telescope is a must there. The person who was showing us was very very knowledgeable, we had kids but he was kind enough to wait for us even after his work hours and show us. Though they didn't tell about this activity in the reception but I think it was the highlight of our stay The food and service is amazing, with a big group it's difficult to satisfy everyone but the chef and staff pulled it off. Will visit again soon
What an experience we had at Cheetahgarh. The 2 days we stayed here were beyond exceptional. The lake view rooms are excellent, amazing views of the Aravalli and the lake where you can spot crocodiles sunbathing right outside your balcony. The safari experience they curated was a dream. Breakfast in the jungle in total serenity. Plus the food here is . Pesto Pasta. Must try Salt & Pepper Chicken. Must Try. Indian food. Excellent.
What an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. We were enveloped in comfort throughout our entire stay. The staff was not only cordial but also incredibly attentive, ensuring that every need was met with lightning-fast service. And let's talk about the food--absolutely delicious! Every meal was a delight. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay, and it surpassed all our expectations!
While the property itself is beautiful and located in a serene part of Jawai, our overall experience at Cheetahgarh Resort was quite disappointing due to the lack of basic service and hospitality. Despite multiple requests, we faced consistent negligence in simple amenities like water refilling, towel replacement, and room cleaning. Even after repeatedly asking, none of these services were provided in a timely manner. To add to the frustration, the room phones were not working, making it extremely inconvenient to reach out to the staff for any assistance. When we personally requested cleaning of the room and bed, the response we received was that it was "checkout time" and there was no staff available--completely unacceptable for a resort that positions itself as a premium experience. For the price and promise of luxury, the service fell short on many levels. I sincerely hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves the quality of guest support and staffing.
Very good ambiance, perfect for a family vacation. Special thanks to the extremely helpful staff that made the stay even more memorable - Tarun, Ravi, Chef Bhanvar Singh, Anuj, Yash, Dilkhush, Sahil, Chef Santosh. Kudos to all you guys!!! Keep up the superb work you all are doing.|Will definitely recommend to all my family and friends.
