Hotel Hayer Palace

A local family friend recommended this place to us and being out of town, we trusted them. Little did we know. |There is no website and the few comments and or photos are about the food. This should have warned us.|We reserved 2 rooms as we were 3 people.|A rather large and spacious hotel, conveniently next to the highway, alas is still stuck in the 1970s as evidenced by the poor state of the carpets, sofas and other room furniture. The bathroom is a disgrace- the leaking water kept my mother awake. The fittings are broken- wires are everywhere. Her geyser didn't switch on. The blankets on my bed stank so I had to ask for clean sheets. The towels they gave us still had price tags on - and there was NO noise isolation from the trucks thundering by on the highway|Need I go on?|I made a reservation in another hotel and we scooted away the next morning

Delicious food . Draught beer . Awesome staff.

Service time is very slow but taste is very good. Location is very fantastic

I think it is the oldest bar/restaurant of the city. Lavish menu card. They are good. Rates are genuine too.

It is a good place to dine out with family.....food is of good quality and isn't costly. Service is fine.
