Hotel Jiwan Plaza

I think the Hotel is under rated as the cost is also very reasonable. The rooms are good and washrooms clean. Only problem is lack of staff, but they are helpful when they are around. Since the Hotel does not have in built kitchen, it might be a problem of people who need room service. Since Hotel is right on the main road, there are many good restaurants around. Hotel guys are helpful enough in case you want them to bring food from outside. Very friendly staff!

It's a perfect location for a traveller.. various restaurant inside the hotel itself is present such hashtags, Dosai and Biryani. Trust me, the restaurant offers a very satisfying meals. The hotel owner is very nice and friendly. He listened to any critics be it positive or negative. He is a nice person..Hotel staff and management is very friendly too. highly recommended to all..

Excellent location, nice spacious rooms, Clean rooms, professional staff, complimentary breakfast - two Aloo Pyaz Parantha, Curd, Pickle and a big cup of milk tea a bonus, very tasty. Best Hotel. I visited Patiala for my son's admission at Thapar.

I have been to this Hotel 15 years ago too but then only for a Marriage Type Function. Then again to dine some 10 years ago. ||||And this time I was here to stay. Booked my stay through Oyo Rooms. ||||The Location is as prime it could be with host of Shopping at Food Options at walking distance. Rather the Hotel to has 2 Dining Options within it's complex.||||Seems some Renovation was on at the same time. Rooms are decent, Value for Money Stay. We came pretty late at Night and left early morning and the stay was decent.

This is located on main Nabha Road/Bhupendra Road, near Columbia Asia hospital. There is a restaurant and cafe on ground floor and first floor is rooms. The rooms are very basic, Cleanliness is an issue. there is no telephone connectivity from room to reception/room services. There is Seepage in the walls and you may find some weird left overs in the rooms. Wash rooms need a little more maintenance. the supply of toileteries is like that of Dharamshala. Room service can be availed by calling on given mobile numbers. Staff is gentle and will behaved.

I am not sure about the other reviews but I had experienced the most horrible day with staff of Jiwan plaza. Being a frequent traveler I had visited patiala in Dec '14 and a friend of mine came to visit me. The hotel staff misbehaved with lady and said since the room is single occupancy there can't be any visitors. Oh yeah! In broad daylight! That is the professionalism they have. Room service takes almost an hour to deliver. They took advance without even giving any receipt or confirmation mail, as if I will run away without paying the bill. In any city one can easily get better room at competitive rate. My advice is to stay away from this pathetic place and find some other place than Jiwan Plaza.
