Recently we visit Sahota joe's bar with family , we enjoy tasty food in family hall, also watch live IPL cricket and play pool table, It's awesome experience

Decent hotel with decent rooms. Good for hosting events like receptions and other marriage and corporate events. Ample of safe parking available. Joes bar has good food and beverages service. Well behave staff.

Wanting a true authentic experience of the Punjab both myself and my husband chose Shiv hotel. Because it's a family run business you do get a personal experience and they just can't do enough for you. Safety is a number one priority for us travelling with two small children and the staff at Shiv hotel were very accommodating ensuring we had transportation to and from our sightseeing destinations. The rooms are an impressive size and have all the amenities you would need. We opted for the family room which was perfect with two separate bedrooms, a lounge and bathroom. The food variety and quality was very good. The staff are polite and friendly and would come again. ||Overall a great location for shopping and sightseeing. Golden temple is a little far but still easily arranged by the hotel.

We stayed at Shiv Hotel in July- August 2019 the facilities were fantastic and the room was comfortable and spacious. The staff were really helpful and accommodating they couldn't do enough. The air con was effective, which we always find important when travelling to India at the height of summer. The food in the restaurant was fresh and delicious and it was nice to unwind with some drinks in Joe's Bar. The location was good as we were easily able to visit friends and family in the Punjab. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.

The Shiv is a modern hotel with large bedrooms and en-suite facilities. Rooms have cable TV and most importantly the bedrooms are air conditioned which adds to a good night's sleep - I slept soundly here! The room and en-suite were kept spotless!||||Outside there is a nice garden for sitting out in and plenty of off street parking.||||The hotel has a great (air condiitoned) bar and restaurant downstairs with a main bar and separate familiy room. The main bar has free wifi, a big screen TV for showing sports, as well as some private booths for those that wanting a little more privacy - great touch! The menu has a wide range of (very tasty!) food, both veg and non-veg, from local dishes through to pizza and chips so should have something for everyone. ||||All in all, a fantastic hotel for the money.

Shiv Hotel Jalandhar||||Booked this place as wanted somewhere close to family but prefer staying in a hotel. Came with my sister and we booked a room with two beds. Room was big with separate dining table. Nice big bathroom and powerful shower. Tv has English channels as well as Hindi so watched movies in evenings . It was just what we needed to spend evenings here as we were spending the day with family and shopping and had our own space in evenings. Had breakfast at the hotel and ate in the restaurant in evenings when we fancied a change from family cooked meals..loved the pizza and chips and burgers. As two girls , we felt very safe here at the hotel. It is owned by someone from the UK and he and his family also live on site which made us feel safe. Will be coming back here next time I am here!

Visiting family for a wedding and stayed at this hotel as I wanted my own space. Great hotel, clean rooms and nice shower. Hotel has restaurant and bar that also do room service which was rest for evening snacks in my room. Had breakfast and dinner at the hotel ..lovely food. Definitely will stay again

I highly recommend this hotel. Great staff and amazing amostphere. My experience during my stay at Shiv Hotel will stay with me forever, it is unforgettable. My family & I we're treated like royalty. The service was not 100% it was 200%. The food and ambience in the restaurant is great. Shiv Hotel until next time.
