Raunaq Farmstay, Hoshiarpur

We are so glad we came across this wonderful place on the net. We were looking for a "property " but found a very welcoming home. I came here with my husband and inlaws and I speak for all when I say we all thoroughly enjoyed the personalized and friendly hospitality of Lavneetji. He went over and above to see we had a lovely time full of activities such as lovely farm walks, jungle rides and pool dips. He personally guided us well to plan our iternary enabling us to soak in as much of the culture and experiences that Punjab has to offer and visited all places of our interest with a lovely picnic basket. Each dish( parathas, rajma, aloo gobhi, gravies,achars, pahadi maggi, sabudana wadas, a freshest panner ka pakodas, farm fresh vegetables and musk melon served for our meals were delightful and finger licking good. The landscape of Raunaq farms is picturesque and beautiful as seen in pictures.We enjoyed the freshest air sunrise,sun set, greenery and chirping of a zillion birds( bird lovers paradise). The rooms are nice and spacious . Very comfortable and extremely clean and air conditioned. While the place doesn't give you the five star luxury corporate vibe, it is the best place to go if you are looking for a home away from home where the host and the staff become family. The icing on the cake was we made a super cute buddy and friend... Sydney the cutest and friendly retriever. Would love to visit again and a must do if you feel the need to break away from life in a concrete jungle.

I enjoyed Raunaq farmstay. It was a peaceful and quiet environment. It felt more like a cozy home than a hotel. Lavneetji is genuinely concerned and takes excellent care of his guests. The food was excellent. I loved the company "Sydney" their retriever and am missing him.

What began as a casual chat over coffee about a driving holiday soon turned into a memorable adventure and a cherished friendship. In late February, while discussing plans for a break during my daughter's school vacation, a friend suggested heading north for cooler weather and recommended Raunaq Farm-stay in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. We contacted the owner, Lavneet, who promptly shared details and videos of the property. We were sold instantly. Within a day, our tickets to Chandigarh were booked, and the trip was set! Lavneet was incredibly helpful from the start--offering tips on road conditions, stopovers, and planning. Raunaq Farm-stay, located halfway to our final destination, Dalhousie, became our two-night stop. Lavneet and his wife Jasleen, despite living eight hours away in Delhi, made the trip to meet us at the farm--an incredibly thoughtful gesture. The farm itself was beautiful, surrounded by trees and wheat fields, with cozy accommodations and a fireplace perfect for chilly nights. We were warmly welcomed with tea, followed by a peaceful sunset and a delicious dinner--one of the best barbecues I've had! Later that night, an ATV ride into the forest made for an exhilarating city-escape experience. The next day included a visit to a nearby dairy farm and a serene picnic by a forest brook deep in the forest--simple moments that felt truly special. Our daughter loved every bit of it, especially playing with Sydney, the friendly retriever who quickly became our best buddy. The last evening was extra special as Lavneet had ordered a projector to watch the finals of the ICC Champions Trophy. He set up the projector on the side of the house and we had our drinks and cheered on India to its victory in grand style. We said goodbye to Lavneet, Jasleen, and Sydney the next morning with full hearts and wonderful memories. Raunaq Farm-stay felt like home, and we'll definitely return. It's the perfect getaway for anyone craving peace, nature, and warm hospitality. Thank you, Lavneet and Jasleen, for a truly unforgettable holiday!

I had the pleasure of staying in Raunaq Farms a couple of days back... I am sure the guests who have stayed in this home/farm stay would agree with me when I say that this is by far the "BEST HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE" one can come across... I am from the hospitality industry and Mr. Lavneet Gyani goes beyond to ensure every guest feels comfortable right from the time we reached the homestay... He ensured that we were comfortable in our rooms and joined us for every meal. The beauty of this property is that you get to enjoy luxury and have the experience of looking at golden wheat fields, the forest behind and the birds chirping...The food served to us was farm fresh taking into consideration our likes and dislikes. Every detail was taken care of by the owner and his staff... They have aesthetically designed rooms, a beautiful swimming pool overlooking the fields and great food... Overall a perfect definition of an holiday HIGHLIGHT OF OUR PUNJAB TRIP - GOLDEN TEMPLE AND RAUNAQ FARMS.
