STAMPS Golden Lagoon by Eight Continents Amritsar

Golden lagoon is very close to the Golden Temple (Darbar Sahib). Staff is friendly and professional. My flight was very late and they were able to accommodate me by giving me a room for a shorter period after normal check out for a reasonable price. Rooms are on the slightly smaller size but sufficient and clean. Kettle, mini fridge, TV, hot water etc all provided. Rooms were clean.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The check-in process was smooth, and my room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and dining options. The breakfast was delicious, offering a great variety of fresh and tasty options. The overall ambiance of the hotel was relaxing, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of my stay.

It was really beautiful stay here. The place is just one min away from Golden Temple. The staff was really friendly. We came in between the recent conflict between India and Pakistan but e felt really safe here amid all this.

Stayed two nights in April 2025, Hotel proximity is just 100 meters from Golden Temple, Rooms are compact with all basic facilities. Staff is courteous & helpful. Travel desk is an added advantage. Restaurant serves good food. Overall, our stay has been comfortable & served the purpose of our visit.

The staff were very friendly. The room was very big & clean & beds were very big & comfortable.We gad a really goid night sleep. The shower was really good & powerful. The shower gel & |body cream smelt beautiful . |The towel rack, I think should be if a different place & not on top of the toilet. | They had a lovely roof top garden which gave it that extra exclusive touch. The Chinese food was very tasty. Will be using the Golden Lagoon hotel again.

We were Family stay two days amazing food in the break fast mix kulcha. The room was very clean and good jallianwala bag view very peaceful in the morning see the out of windows Staff very good Treval desk helpful staff . Location is good because nearby golden temple 5mintues walking distance Se will came again with my family.

Hotel stay was pleasant. Travel desk was supportive. Staff maintained cleanliness and room service was good. Best is the location. Less than 5 minutes walk to golden temple and Jallianwala bagh. Markets too are nearby. Food options are also nearby.

False advertising on Booking.Com. The rooms were not as advertised, we thought we would have enough space for a big group and got told 5 rooms are not enough for 14 people. Also got told that futon beds are not included in the charge and cost extra. When we get in the room we figure out that 5 rooms were enough as we had 3 kids that were under the age of 12. (As we had originally planned). Faucets were loose in the bathroom and had to call guest services 3 times to get a blanket. In addition, the hotel is right in middle of a market, we kept hearing honks and traffic through the window even though it was closed. Overall, would not recommend coming here.
