Hyatt Regency Amritsar Hotel & Spa

The food at your hotel was absolutely delightful! Every dish was well-prepared, flavourful, and presented beautifully. I truly appreciated the variety on the menu, catering to different tastes without compromising on quality. Special compliments to the chef and the kitchen staff for maintaining such high culinary standards. And service standards! Amazing staff and services! Special thanks to Devraj and Farhan! Looking forward to visit and dine here again!

We had to make a few changes to our booking as our child was ill. All staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating of our needs. Our extended stay in this hotel was very comfortable and the food from Punjab Provence is fantastic! Great location, with a big shopping center next door.

Staying at the Hyatt Regency Amritsar was unfortunately a major letdown. For a hotel that advertises itself as a five-star property, the standards were nowhere near acceptable. Our rooms were dusty in the corners, indicating poor housekeeping. The TVs didn't work at all, and the front desk seemed disorganized and at times indifferent to guests' needs. There was little to no coordination between staff shifts, which caused multiple issues. One of our rooms wasn't ready despite our late-night arrival, and in another, two single beds had been requested, but we received a king-size instead. We asked for two single duvets and were brought only one, then had to wait again for the second. Three of us stayed in a suite--which should have offered the best experience in the hotel. Instead, it wasn't even fully prepared, with the extra bed missing on arrival. And when it was finally brought, it turned out to be a flimsy folding cot that felt more like a camp bed than proper sleeping accommodation. Definitely not what you'd expect from a premium suite. Dinner service wasn't much better: only one menu for three people, towels forgotten until we asked, and the food came out at completely different times. A Caesar salad was served 25 minutes after the others and came with ingredients like broccoli and beans--not exactly what you'd call a Caesar salad. We also faced trouble adjusting our reservation from four to three nights. Staff gave us contradictory information, and only after lengthy discussions with a manager were we able to check out a day earlier. Even then, we were told we hadn't checked out and would still be charged--something that took yet another round of complaints to sort out. Cash exchange at reception was denied on the grounds that we had already checked out--until we complained again, and only then it was approved. No apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience. The hallways were noisy at night, with trays and used towels left outside rooms for hours. It felt neglected and far from the standard we expected. The only team that left a positive impression was the security and bell staff--they were the only ones who truly acted like professionals. Overall, the hotel was chaotic, poorly managed, and not even close to five-star quality. I wouldn't stay here again and would recommend others to be cautious before booking.

We stayed at the hotel last week for 2 nights. For a 5 star property you would expect their service standards to be aligned with their rating. Check in could do with more staff. The restaurant was chaos on both days. After advising Reception of our early departure and requested for a packed breakfast. They had forgotten to place the order and we left without the meal box. Very poor service all round. From our observation, the staff were trying their best to cope with the chaos. They need to have a better system to cater for a full house occupancy.

Rooms are awefull and do not suggest for family to stay it's more like corporate hotel. As the rooms are very small and you hv to book suit to fulfill your need of extra space which doesn't make any sense to me as I hv been travelling all over india - Hyatt is not bad in other states but this one was below my expectations! Breakfast is not a good spread but it's workable !

Just returned home after our 7-day visit to India. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency (Amritsar) for all 7 nights, and the experience was fantastic!! The check in process was smooth. The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful and their customer service was top-notch. Our room was clean and well-maintained, and the housekeeping team was always quick to respond when we needed anything. Breakfast each morning was a real highlight. They have live stations where you could order tea, eggs, aloo parathas, pancakes, waffles--and even get fresh fruit cut for you on the spot. The staff would bring everything straight to your table, constantly checking in to see if you needed anything else. By the third morning, the team (especially Rajendra Prasad!) already knew my husband takes his tea without sugar, which was very thoughtful! On our last day, we requested a late checkout as our flight was at night, and without any fuss, they extended it by 2.5 hours - very accommodating. Everyone we interacted with was extremely friendly and respectful, always greeting us professionally and holding doors open. There's no pressure to tip, it's completely up to you. Another plus point - The hotel is right next to a large mall, making shopping and dining out super convenient. Taxis and autos were also easily available right outside the hotel or the mall. Overall, a wonderful and pleasant stay for my family. We highly recommend Hyatt Regency in Amritsar!!

Check-in was horrendous. Requested for extra card, the staff (male, tall wear specs speaks in a monotonous voice) said will be given in few minutes. Guess what, we were not given the extra card. I can accept if its not meant to be given 2 cards and he shouldn't lie. to us. We asked him TWICE. The key card is not even working. I have 2 young children with me and the staffs did not have any sense of urgency when being faced with difficulties. The card did not work for 4 times. 4 TIMES! No apologies from the management nothing. Breakfast buffet was alright. But we got FOOD POISONING from the ginger tea during dinner time. And when i sliced the bun, lo and behold! there was a RED STAIN on the knife!!!! The table was sticky too. Please live up to Hyatt standard. This was not our first time to this hotel. It was lovely the previous time we came. But this time it was horrible!

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire hotel staff for their exceptional hospitality and service during my stay. Even though I arrived late for the buffet, I was still warmly welcomed and served a delicious meal without any hesitation.||Special thanks to Farhan, whose courteous and attentive service made me feel truly valued, and to Chef Mayank, whose culinary skills left a lasting impression. The Chicken Changezi was absolutely delicious -- one of the best I've ever tasted!||I also thoroughly enjoyed the variety of sweets -- they were a real treat, and as someone who loves desserts, I was genuinely impressed.||What made the experience even more memorable was the warm interaction with the staff. Everyone was so welcoming and even shared some of their stories, which added a lovely personal touch. Thank you all for making my experience so enjoyable -- I appreciated every bit of it!
