Hotel The Savode Amritsar

I had an amazing stay at Hotel The Savode! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and friendly service. The staff were extremely helpful and always ready to assist with a smile, which made my experience truly enjoyable. The rooms, although a bit small, were very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The bathrooms were spotless as well, and I really appreciated the attention to cleanliness throughout my stay. Daily room cleaning was done without fail, keeping everything fresh and tidy. The highlight for me was the breakfast -- absolutely delicious! The taste was amazing, the quality of the food was excellent, and everything was beautifully served. There was such a wide variety to choose from that every morning felt like a feast. Their in-house restaurant is also open for dinner, and the food was pretty tasty. It was a great option to have after a long day, and the quality and flavor did not disappoint. The location of the hotel is another big plus. It's just a short walking distance to the Golden Temple, which made it super convenient to visit any time of the day. Overall, Hotel The Savode offers wonderful hospitality, clean and cozy rooms, and excellent food. Highly recommended!

Our family had a fantastic stay at The Savode, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and impeccably clean, with a prime location just a 5-minute walk from the Golden Temple--perfect for easy access to the city's main attraction. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding, making us feel truly welcomed and comfortable. The restaurant and cafe at the hotel served some of the best food we've had, and the coffee was even better than Starbucks! We also loved the aesthetic cafe on the ground floor, which was a great place to relax and unwind. Everything about our stay was perfect, from the service to the ambiance. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Amritsar!

Stayed here for 4 nights and explored Amritsar from here. The staff is great, friendly, welcoming and helpful, they were kind enough to let us in our room early after an overnight train to get there. The room is nicely decorated and very clean, the aircon and heating worked well. The room would benefit with some hooks and places to hang items. However the bed was comfy, a little softer than many in India. And there are quite a few sockets for use, unusual! Wifi was mostly good, we were on the 4th floor, but occasionally dropped out. Breakfast on the 5th floor was very nice, with fresh fruit, Dahl, veg curry, breads and Poha, along with juice and masala tea, omelette if requested. Plus toast and jams. The hotel arranged taxis at reasonable cost with Sardar Tours and Travel. The bathroom has no window, and could do with a few more hooks, but the shower is very powerful and great. There's an ATM machine at SBI within 5 minutes walk and it is only 10 minutes walking to the Golden Temple, the Partition Museum and Jallianwala Bagh. The area outside the hotel doesn't look great but we recommend it and would definitely return here, if coming back to Amritsar.

Excellent place to stay at Amritsar. The rooms are very clean. The service is also very good. Very polite staff and manager. Best part is the place is situated at a walking distance of 10 minutes from the Golden Temple . Also it has a great cafe which serves amazing grilled sandwich and cappuccino. Thank you Hotel the Savode Amritsar for making our stay at Amritsar so memorable.

Well maintained rooms..helpful staff It's near temple..quite busy road always To move around in this area we should use battery operated auto Should be quick to load and unload our baggage..cafe offers good food..

Service wasn't great, hotel was 15 minutes away by walk not 2 minutes. Breakfast was available but limited choices. Green tea cup was dropped called for room service but staff said they couldn't help to clean and have to clean yourself. Very disappointed. Pillow cases and bed sheet was very dirty as well.

It's always quite tricky to find a decent hotel due to too many fake reviews. I stumbled upon Savode after digging through multiple threads of discussions online on Reddit etc. And Savode did not let us down at all. In fact, it exceeded our expectations. Brilliant location. 10mins walk to Golden temple/Jallianwala bagh/Partition museum. 15mins walk to shopping areas. 10mins away from Railway station. Great ambience. Lovely interior decor. Staff absolutely outstanding. Very humble and hospitable and always at hand to help. Great food. We were 2 families and elderly people and had our dinners there and it exceeded our expectations. Even the elders loved their food. Breakfast was freshly prepared to our taste. Rooms were decently sized and comfortable too. Mattress was on the softer end, could be a bit harder. On the whole, Savode was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Savode and would surely stay here on our next visit.
