Hotel Abode

Disappointing Stay - Only Location is a Plus (Definitely not recommended) The only redeeming quality of this hotel is its proximity to the Golden Temple. Beyond that, the experience was extremely disappointing. The room maintenance was poor, and there was a constant pungent smell in the rooms, making it uncomfortable to stay indoors for long. The cleanliness was subpar, and basic amenities were either broken or missing. To make matters worse, the hotel staff was completely indifferent. They showed no interest in addressing guest concerns and seemed least bothered about service or hospitality. Any requests made were met with a careless attitude, which only added to the frustration. This hotel offers nothing close to a good or memorable stay. If you're expecting comfort, cleanliness, or decent service, look elsewhere. The management needs to seriously address these issues if they want to improve. Right now, the hotel seems to operate purely because of its convenient location near the Golden Temple, not because it offers any real value to guests. Definitely not recommended.

Very well presented reception area. Greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Access to lift if required.||Rooms are spread over 5 floors. We were situated on 2nd floor with windows to the rear, I imagine the Rooms to front have a fabulous view of Heritage Street below.||Rooms are good but bathrooms need a good dose of disinfectant. We changed our sheets after two nights just because I had a nose bleed and we also replaced our towels. Luckily the cupboard outside our room was open to enable us to do this. Under the bed could do with being a hover. Rooms could do with housekeeping after 2 days as no water or coffee after day 1. Had 4 nights at Abode.||The restaurant food was good, lovely and fresh. Senior well-spoken staff are happy to discuss the food and will go the extra mile to make the perfect meal for you. ||Table presentation could have been a little better however, the courtesy of the staff made up for that. ||All in all Abode was good, definitely recommended due to the location and considerate staff. The imperfections detailed are minor and easily corrected.||We are very grateful to Abode staff after Indigo moved our flights x 5 times and we ended up in Amritsar at 11:30pm with no where to go. ||Will return with no hesitation.

The hotel is literally a 2 min walk from the golden temple. It is adequate beds are comfy, shower and bathroom facilities all good. Breakfast is buffet, with fruit, toast, chick pea curry, and puree. |The only downside is because it is so close to the Golden Temple the street is busy 24/7 with chanting starting at 3:00am. So take ear plugs if you want to sleep! |Staff friendly and speak basic English

I recently stayed at Abode Hotel in Amritsar, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. First, the bathroom had several issues. The basin tap was broken, making it difficult to use. The bathroom drawer was filthy, with visible hairs, and it was clear it hadn't been cleaned in months. I also had trouble getting basic services. I requested water and had to remind the staff five times before it was finally delivered. Additionally, the TV channels weren't working, and despite repeatedly informing the staff (almost five times), nothing was done about it until it was already time to sleep. To top it off, I was provided with used shower gel, which is completely unacceptable. Overall, the lack of cleanliness and poor service made for an unpleasant stay. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

I recenlty visited amritsar i founded this property its located in the heart of city its very near to jaliawala bag and walking distance from golden tample the street always full of crowd.Hotel rooms are cleaned and good.Zayka the restaurant had varity of veg options on the menu food is very finger licking and delicious Staff was very courtious and helpful Specially Mr.Rahul he served on the gentel manner both are very good in beheviour.|| thanks Abode hotel

Very good hotel. Staff is very cooperative. Location is fantastic. Food is very tasty. Highly recommended for all age groups. Golden temple is one minute walk. Jaliwala Bagh is 30 seconds walk. Worth staying place. Though it's in bustling area but no noise and disturbance. Everything is Perfect

Paid 3200 for a room per night.|It was not at all worth it.|Pathetic rooms.|Very Small as compared to shown in pictures|No walking space|Squeezing bed|Broken kettle|Broken curtains|Wall had pencil marks, no maintenance|Only 1 bed side switchboard to use, which didn't work. Your charger pops out automatically.|Flush not working|No hot water, the assistant asked to wait for 10-15 mins each time before using hot water as their boiler takes time.|Lift noise travels to the room.|Safe to keep valuables In room not working.|If you tell the hotel employee that the number provided is not reachable. They will dial the number from their phone and put it on your face that it's working. What's wrong with it?|Really bad property for the price paid.|MMT customer service is equally useless, they ask you to make a snag list and share it with the hotel to improve their services.|How funny!|You can stay here if you pay 700-800 rs per night.|Then it makes sense.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions."
