I wish to give negative stars if the option was there. This is my 2nd time visiting thirunallar. Since the 1st time experience with this cottage was good, I booked it again. (You can read about my earlier review down). This time I was in a sad, disappointed state after looking at the room and getting scolded by my family and relatives (booked 2 rooms). Smelly rooms, fully rusted bathroom fittings, dust over the switch board, dirty faucet etc.. I even found a baby lizard in the pillow given by them because of which there was panic in the room for sometime . I'm neither a localite nor have anything against this hotel to give bad reviews. My suggestion to viewers - Please think before staying at this hotel. To owner - please renovate the property. Old review when I visited in Jan - All in all good. Helpful staff and value for money. Nice place to stay. Affordable prices and they offer extra blankets, hot water service etc so for me I liked my stay. Also it's around 1.5km near the bus stand so it helped with easy transportation. There's a temple nearby in walkable distance, so it's a worthwhile stay.

Rooms are very clean, especially the rest room. Booked couple of rooms for family and price is reasonable. Walkable to saneswaran temple. Located in main road and good location. Since didn't expected much, no issues.

The room given to us had all bathroom fittings rusted. Dust and hair were all over the room. Very bad smell was there. I doubt if they had even cleaned the room before giving it to us.

I can see patches of funges on Cupboards, on doors. When AC turned on the smell of funges are allover. Pictures in Agoda is not true. Also there is no Room pictures they have posted, that says it all. Also this is not newly renovated as mentioned in the website. Staff were very curious to get the money paid even though I am having multiple luggage bags in Hand. They had rushed and have not even allowed to settle. Obivously without doubt the worry for them would be if we say the rooms, then we would be fly away from there Hotel. Even though they mentioned it No pay in advance in the Agoda website, staff did collected advance a day before. I have told I would be coming by evening, they had time from morning but still the rooms fungus have not been cleaned well. After informing also there is no proper response, they simply said ok we shall clean now. What is the use of cleaning after customer arrived.

Rooms are not good need to replace existing beds, Rs,2800/- per room is not worth.

The staff were helpful & provided the necessary support as & when required. Would recommend for friends & family
