Lotus Comfort- A Pondy Hotel

The room is good, 10 minutes walk to rock beach, city centre are some of the pros. The cons are: sink tap was rusted, the hot water was just lukewarm and major drawback was there was no parking as they claim. It's the street parking which they claim as parking available. We were utterly disappointed with it. Room service staff was very kind and helpful.

The rooms are quite dusty while the windows locked and the opening levers removed for God knows what reason, the elevator stinks like something died in there, the staff have a nonchalant and take it or leave it attitude toward you. It's not worth the asking prices for the room. I would not recommend it. The only plus I can mention is the hotel is located at the centre of the town and can serve easy access to other locations.

My recent stay at this hotel was highly disappointing. From the moment I entered, I was greeted by an unpleasant foul smell that lingered throughout my stay. To make matters worse, there was absolutely no network connection, making it difficult to stay connected or get any work done. Breakfast was another letdown--rather than the usual buffet you'd expect from a hotel, we were given cold, pre-packaged food from an outside shop, which was far from satisfactory. There was no phone in the room to contact reception, so each time I had an issue, I had to physically go downstairs, which was inconvenient. Adding to the frustration, many of the locks and bathroom fixtures were broken, and maintenance seemed non-existent. Overall, this hotel fell well below standard in terms of comfort, amenities, and service. I would not recommend staying here.

I had a good stay What I liked Comfort 10/10 We were too tired and wanted to wind off the day so we got some good rest at this hotel. The beds were clean and the AC was really good. The lights were all good. Functionality 4 out of 5 The heater worked really well, the closet was clean and good. Issue Everything was clean but the bathroom had a clogging issue. I waited more than 15 mins for the water to get drained in the bathroom after a bath but the water never got drained. If we're paying for something, at least everything should be functional right? Clogging issue cannot be accepted. Parking 5 out of 5 In that locality the parking is the main problem but this hotel has enough parking space. They also help us with parking. Additional benefits 5/5 Lift The Lift made it easy to reach the floor so additional shoutout for the lift. Landline Phone It's good to have the traditional landlines to reach our family as well staying in the next room. Really helps to even wake up our members in the morning if they're staying in the next room. Water bottles Appreciate the fact that water bottles and other necessities like soap were all given. Location (5/5) It's at the beginning of the white town I guess so staying here gives the benefit of being at the proximity of White town so any time we can travel in. What I liked and didn't like Too much of glass mirrors, I don't understand why we need a glass mirror in the shower area. Ofcourse we can appreciate our physique when we take a bath but still felt unnecessary to have mirrors in bathing area of the bathroom. Looked premium for sure but weird as well. I don't understand why we need mirrors in front of us in the cot My guess If we are in a deep sleep and let's assume someone knocks the door, so we turn on the lights and we can fix ourselves to avoid looking creepy after a half sleep. Mirrors in front of the cot will reduce the hassle of searching for mirrors in the night. That way it should help definitely. I did not like mirrors in front of the shower The clogging is that one part which missed a 5 star rating or else everything was good. I'd recommend anyone to stay there!!! Worst experience, with AC , taps in washroom and room sound of some irritating generator

It's in the prime location, walkable distance to Rock Beach. But staff could be trained to behave friendly with customers rather than acting like a strict officer. Also, many amenities in the room don't work unless you call reception to fix them. Not enough parking space and no restroom for drivers.

Pathetic host of this property. Rooms seems good but zero service and zero etiquettes
