Worst hall for party function.. don't book for function..no AC, no proper response....no illumination

Car parking is bit challenging. Located just in front of Boathouse , Cuddalore Road suitable for Tourists. If you are planning for any family function please think twice with respect to the number of guest. Dinning hall is not big , lacks AC, fans are not fully functioning with rotation feature. A big, very old tree is very near by this hotel that has live hood of 100 birds and you could listen to the sound every evening and morning.

Hotel is ok, I would say manageable only. You have to speak to reception multiple time to get basic things like soap, towels, etc. Rooms are big enough. Beds are small to accommodate 2 + 1 kid Area us good for the people wants to go to Paradise beach. Paradise beach boating point is located just opposite to this hotel.

Please don't stay in this hotel. Everything is wrong with the hotel. It was too expensive and quality if hotel and rooms is too low. Let me start with the location of hotel. It also has public bar, so definitely not for the family to stay if you are coming late. There was stinking smell at the entrance of hotel. Lift was switched off and asked us to carry the luggage as receptionist was the only staff in the evening. He finally obliged and carried out luggage to 1st floor as we had few bags as we were traveling as a family. The room was worst. Mosquitoes greeted us and receptionist was not willing to even provide mosquito repellent. But, after insisting, he told that he will check with the manager and gave us 1. We were staying in suit, which has two rooms, so we had to compromise with ine mosquito repellent. Mattresses are old, the linen was not clean. For the extra bed, there was no bed spread. To our amazement the balcony door didn't have lock, please check the photo. I was on night duty to make sure that my family sleeps peacefully as I couldn't get sleep. The door didn't have knob to open/close. The toilet fittings are too old and rusted - toliet flush, towel holder, sink tap. There was an opening around the exhaust fan, so not that secure. Check the photos. Even fan speed controller doesn't have a knob. The basement was stinking and it had lot of alcohol bottles and there was accumulated water. I was holding my breath as much as possible, but couldn't hold it for long and had to take that bad smell. You may be wondering why did I book this hotel, answer I was short on time, didn't check individual reviews and fell for Treebo brand. One good thing was the breakfast was good and staff their was courteous. So, in conclusion never ever book room in this hotel.

I stayed at this Hotel, this hotel is located very opposite to Chunnambar Boat house. If anyone looking to book a hotel near Paradise Beach, this would be a great option. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Hotel staffs are very kind and help. This hotel have in-house restaurant who prefer Non veg, this is one of the good hotel. Overall the stay was wonderful and happy. I will definitely suggest my friends to stay here.

Very worst services. Someone going to book this hall for function, Don't book there. I booked hall for my son 1st birthday function. They told servant will come for clean the dining area but before the function starts only they are saying all maid was leave. When I ask manager, He was saying like what we can do if they took leave, such an irresponsible answer. Atlast we only managed everything. All food wastage and everything they kept in car parking itself and very bad smell overthere. I never seen like this kind of hotel.

Such a horrible experience we had in this hotel - 14th to 16th of January'2023 We 2 families along with children been to Pondicherry and stayed in this hotel for 2 days. 1. No response from the staff - AC not working, No Phone in the room, Balcony was full of dust, etc... 2. No Cleaning - For two days no room cleaning has been done by the hotel staff, I am fed up telling them what to do. 3. No Hygiene room maintenance 4. Old property ( old wine in a new bottle) 5. The biggest issue was Parking, a very congested back-to-back should part. If the first person would need his car then rest of the 3 cars should be taken out. 6. All the Bar & waste food was dumped at the Parking place. 7. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to families, and suitable for bachelors. The only good thing that happened in this Era was the "Jallikattu" (out side Restaurant) the food was too good and the staff was awesome in serving.

The reason i had to give low rating is that because there is a marriage hall & bar suitated in the same building and their kitchen was in the same floor as we stayed(1st floor) i guess, where we continuously got cooking exhausted smell throughout our stay which caused us little uncomfortable. And even if the website shows the room could accommodate 3 adults (i booked through agoda), you should pay additional for extra bed. Other than these no issues for us,as there many free rooms that 1 night we booked, we could get room even after late check-in.
