Regant Hotel

Very poor quality of food as compared to a normal standards of 3 star hotels. Very poor service and quite high priced compared to others areas of the same. There are other bars with good ambience and better service at standard rates. I won't recommend this place for stay or for drinking.

I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. They ran out of basic food items during the peak lunch hour which was surprising. I had to wait for an excessive amount of time for my order which wasn't worth the time or the high prices. The quality of the food was subpar and I felt like I overpaid for what I received. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant!

Stay is good but extremely high food prices in their restaurant and limited options. If you plan to stay in this hotel pls do not order food from regents restaurant or bar.

Located 700mtrs from Mahe Railway Station. Excellent place at Mahe for friends to chill out. Clean rooms and corridors, apart from a slight foul smell in the room when it eas initially opened due to poor ventilation. Bar and restaurant attached. Spacious car and bike parking inside the hotel compound available.

Rooms are good with AC working condition. Hot water available and TV was not working. Room service was Ok but food charges are high.

Stayed there for a day and checked out yesterday. This place was known as Zara resorts a few years before and was very modest and a traditional lodge at best. So I was really surprised when I saw it last year and the hotel has become really nice. Their problem is that they only get weekend crowds. Other days the occupancy is low and hence the staff are laid back. They are very friendly though. Their food is good too. Only problem is that they do not recharge their DTH and I am surprised at their lack of embarrassment when the guests point that out. Don't have big expectations. The rooms are neat and comfortable. Such hotels did not exist in Mahe before and even I had stayed in Thalassery 10 years before. In summary value for money.

Staffs are careless. Tv was not working initially, when we complaint, they do replaced the set top box. Initially they have shown another room and after payment they told that the room is already booked just now by another customer and given the room that was not selected by us. There was no other option other than taking the room.

The hotel is okay. Pros : 24*7 hot water facility for bath. Wifi facility is available. Cons: food closes at 9:30 pm & morning coffee also serve late at 7 AM. TV in the room is of small size and after repeated complaints they didn't recharge the dish. Food is okay.
