The First House

Just got back from a wonderful stay at The First House Karaikal and feeling so refreshed. It was exactly the peaceful escape we were hoping for, located in a lovely quiet spot in beach 10 mins drive. The house was so comfortable and had a lovely feel to it. Friendly and thoughtful host, always happy to help with anything we needed. We also felt it was really good value for money. If you're after a relaxing break with a genuinely kind host, look no further!"

The design of the house represents the traditional Tamilian culture. It is quite soothing when we stay here. Occasional traffic noise does disturb a little bit but it isn't a deal breaker. The room and other areas of the house have been maintained in a well and clean manner. If you would want to visit Karaikal I would recommend staying in this house. Book through Airbnb. We didn't have breakfast included in the booking. However breakfast would have been a plus.

Hi.. Wanted to thank you for making our stay very comfortable. We have stayed in a few BNBs before but haven't experienced such good hosting as yours. Be it the cake or topper or the last min pastry order or delivering the cake personally to make sure it stays good... you went extra miles to make sure all our requirements were fulfilled. Special mention to Indhumathi akka who never hesitated a bit for every demand of ours. The property was well kempt. Hall and rooms were aesthetically so pleasing, the toilets were clean, hygienic and well maintained.. Kitchen had all utensils enough to cook for a group of 15. Acs, TVs, fridge, iron box, geysers all working fine. The property is also located around 1km from beach. Had ample space in the parking area to host a party. Overall super satisfied to have chosen The First House as our son's birthday destination!

I frequently visit thirunallar temple and karaikal, ive stayed in multiple hotels and homestays, but this stay tops it all. The beaches were pretty accessible, the hosts were super friendly. The place was clean and well maintained. The ambience made us feel connected to our roots. A 10/10 stay in karaikal.

One of the best choices in and around Karaikal and Tharangambadi. My family had an amazing time. It's perfectly placed about a 15 mins walk from the beach.The house is spacious and very aesthetically pleasing. Has everything a family or an individual needs for a long stay. The river Arasalaru joining the sea at the beach is quite a site. The hosts are extremely kind and lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed the food in the Jannal Cafe which is also run by the hosts.

We had a really nice experience staying here, it felt connected to our roots and traditions. The beach was a walk away from the property.

New experience...stay was good....peaceful place to stay for a family...feels like home..
