Hotel Solan

Bad experience with that hotel . I lived in a rented apartment in Rourkela from 2023 . One of my office Collegue came here and stayed in this hotel so I go there to meet him and hardly stayed in his room for 30 minutes but today when my colleague check out his room the hotel demand extra money for that 30minutes meeting. So please don't go this hotel and also some staff was very rude.

Value for money... built in 1970s... service is very good n the prices are very reasonable. Very close to railway station too. Food is also very yummy here.

Very old hotel good for budget just stay. Ask the hotel is old the rooms and facility are pretty much older. Room was not that clean. Services very average. The receptionist was helpful in extending our stay. This places near to the railway station. There are several ETA is available outside the hotel. There are many more hotels available in the surrounding with same budget and better rooms.

This is one of tge best budget hotel I have come across.. Food is excellent and home style less of oil.. You get authentic Bengali food here though not tge entire range.. It's just a stone throw distance from the Railway Station.. The 4 AC rooms in 5th & 6th Floors have a breathtakingly view of the Mountain & Jai Mata Di Temple..

This hotel gives the worst possible experience! The staff doesn't even know how to behave with a customer. We checked in at 7:30 A.M., The hotel doesn't even have a good room for a family to stay, every room is dirty, showers don't work, rooms are filled with the smell of cigarettes. From 7:30, we looked into 5 different rooms of their but every room was the same irrespective of the price, same dirty and everything. We didn't even stay at a single room for more than 5 minutes and we went out to go for a different hotel, they were charging us 1000 for absolutely nothing. They behaved with us on such a dirty manner that no one could even think of, when we argued that why we would pay for not even staying for more than 2 hours ( which includes roaming to various rooms and not even staying at one room for more than 5 minutes), they pulled us back in and fought with us that we have to pay. The owner is very arrogant, rude and lacks even the basic manners. This, so called "Hotel", is definitely not for family and the environment is not family friendly. No one even responds at the reception when called.

One of the oldest hotels in Rourkela which offers good rooms in affordable price and great food.Great location, just 5 mins walking distance from Rourkela station and all types of conveyance available and it's surrounded by many local shops which lets you have anything you need.The staff is also very good and try to serve you in the best possible way.

Located besides Rourkela Railway Station, So location wise, it's great. And rooms are budget friendly. The rooms are good and maintained. But the bathrooms are not clean. The service of the staff is good but not excellent. It has a restaurant, serving good food.
