Hotel Mantra Palace

I had a very disappointing stay at Hotel Mantra Palace and would not recommend it to anyone. The hotel lacks even the most basic necessities. 1. Unhygienic Rooms - The pillows and bedsheets were dirty (photo attached), making the stay uncomfortable and unpleasant. 2. Mosquito Problem - Sleeping at night was nearly impossible due to mosquitoes. Despite calling the reception three times, no mosquito repellent was provided. 3. Unhelpful and Rude Staff - The staff was not guest-friendly and showed no concern for resolving issues. If you're looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay--whether for business or family--this is not the place to choose. I strongly advise against booking this hotel.

New Food Shop Open Enjoying a scrumptious Madras Masala vada pav, which I had the pleasure of tasting last night at Rourkela Mantra Palace for just 40 rupees. A delightful experience for both the palate and the wallet!

Rooms are congested. Food is very good but over priced. Think twice before organizing functions with catering from them. You will find very good and tasty food but food will run short if you have even 4-5 extra guests. Room service is poor. If you need something late in the night or early morning, no one will respond to your repeated calls. Only positive about them is the food and rest all services are pathetic.

Rooms are small, that's not an issue but hygiene is the main problem here. Stains over everything - bed sheet, pillow, walls. Bathroom has leakage issue. They are not clean. And, rooms feel claustrophobic.

As per rate rooms are ok, may be bit old.Room service is really quick.

Bad experience. It's said to be of economy standard but we experienced nothing of such standard. The lift was not working (That they didn't mention about at the time of booking, even though the repair work was going in since days.) and we were given a room at the fourth floor. The bed & pillow covers were yellowish & unclean, even the ones we asked them to replace was similar. The water jug & glasses were not properly clean. However, the bottled water, that we requested for, was good & saved us from remaining thirsty. Being a senior citizen, it was very difficult for me to climb up & down the stairs. They couldn't relocate our room in any first floor accomodation as they said that the hotel was full. We had to stay on the fourth floor as we had booked for our stay since morning & had checked in around 11pm. We had to stay there for the night. We stayed there for a single day only. *Among all the comfortless & tiring experience the Morning Breakfast, served in the room, was like a boon. It was good & tasty. It soothed our irritation & anger to a large extent.* We had checked out, after placing our complaints at the cash counter, with no harsh feelings. The location of the hotel is good as it is beside the main road & is easily approachable. The management, but, should inform the customers, who are booking ahead of arriving, of the room & also about any existing breakdown condition(s) such as of the lift (we faced.) . . Should we look forward for better treatment? . .

This the most amazing hotel with a rich collection of paintings, artifacts. The breakfast buffets were sumptuous and extremely well cooked. The Room has great ambiance and the multicuisine restaurant is extremely popular. Their all dishes is worth trying. The rooms are small but service was excellent .Polite and helpful service, round the clock.
