Sand Pebbles Bhitarkanika Jungle Resorts

This resort offers a very comfortable stay for 2-3 nights. They offer 2 types of tents. Package also includes a guided sunset and morning cruise along the mangroves. It has ponds and surrounded by agrarian fields, cute ducks, dogs n cats, offering instantaneous mental detox on arrival.|We went in mid March when the day time heat and humidity levels are pretty high. The resort serves a very scrumptious buffet spread 3x a day, and evening high tea. We opted for the luxury ac tent, which was very well maintained and comfortable. The linen and towels are very clean. Lots of bottled water is supplied. Tea in kulhads is served early morning and late evenings. Ashutosh, with his ever smiling attitude is always running around ensuring that everything is working efficiently. We had requested for Odiya cuisine on day 2, and the chef presented a marvelous feast. We're mentioning the names of the hardworking and ever smiling courteous service staff. Ashutosa Rath, Santosh Kumar Panda, Kshirod, Kishore (our boat guide),Sankar, Pramod, Bikash, Krishna, Jaswant,Rajesh, Satya, Mitu, Asit, Bichitra, work together as a well oiled machine. Kudos to them.

I visited this resort in Dec, 2024 with my family and I was surprised by the quality of food and service provided here. I kept my expectations low considering the rural location but the set up at Jungle Resorts was really good. My journey to Bhitarkanika was an absolute blast. Thanks to the great management by Mr. Santosh, Mr. Ashutosh and their entire team. The service boys are polite and well behaved. I highly recommend this resort to those who are looking to spend some good quality time with their family or friends.

Booked an AC premium luxury tent for 3 people. Experience was good for a night 's stay. Room was neat and clean. The property was neat and serene. Sevice was excellent. Food (lunch, dinner) was okay types. Breakfast was complimentary and good. They also have their own private boat which takes you through the national park for some great crocodile views (costs around extra 6k). Overall experience was good for a night's stay.

This is a beautiful and peaceful place, a must-visit destination in Odisha. The resort is surrounded by the village and rice fields. I appreciate their hospitality. Thank you so much, Santosh ji, for taking care of us. The tents are special, well-maintained, and beautiful. Staff members are helpful and polite, and the place is near Bhitarkanika National Park. This is 3-star??? felt like 5-star though. But honestly the resort was so good the staff members were courteous, helpful, friendly. the food was just awesome. I wished if I could ate everything and they also offer ala carte along with the buffet. You can order as per your wish. The resort was not far from where we arrived. We could have just walked to the resort but their staff member came to pick us up. It's just nice and cozy and if people are looking for an overnight or 2-day stay, it will just be suitable!

Not inside the jungle but very near to jetty. Tents are too good with all modern amenities. Foods awesome. And above all the behaviour of Managers (Mr. Asutosh and Mr. Somenath) and staffs are very good.

This property deserves a 5 star purely because of the nicest people running it. Service was brilliant, rooms were clean and very well maintained. Facilities were great, and so was the boat ride arranged by the team. A big thank you to the entire team lead by Mr. Ashutosh.

We stayed at the sand pepper jungle resort at bhitarkanika. They have 3 options for accommodate, we stayed in the luxury tents. The tents are cozy. The food is really tasty and they serve the food with a lot of affection. The manager and all the staff are courteous and polite. They arrange boat rides through the mangrove forests not to be missed, Mr kishor guided us the boat ride which was awesome. Morning boat ride with bird watching and afternoon with the sighting of many crocodiles in the natural habitat made the rides really memorable.
