Marina Beach House

Recently visited hotel Marina Beach House at Puri with family. It is located near light house and away from the din and bustle of Swargadwar. Only a few rooms are there in this hotel and most of them are sea facing. The price is very reasonable and there is auto stand just in front of it. So communication to the market area is easy. But though the behaviour of the staff was good, the rooms need maintenance. They serve freshly cooked Bengali food. Probably all rooms are AC. Hotel is quite clean. But during our stay pipe of the water tank was leaking and the water entered one room from the roof. Don't ask hotel to hire cars for your sightseeing. The person they prefer charges high prices. Select from travel agencies at Marine drive road. Overall good experience.

BEST AMONG THE REST I went to Puri 2nd August 2019 with my family and after Fani cyclone I was the 1st visitor of this hotel. Luckily I got the 301 Room. The view of this room is one the BEST view I have ever had in Puri. If you want to spent MEEE time I must suggest you should be there as the Hotel situated 2 mins from the Light House and bit vacant area so you will find peace of mind and you can feel the Sea if you got the Room 301 or 302 as these two rooms are the BEST. I personally feel to stay bit away from the crowd so its my kind of hotel. The stuffs are very polite and the food quality is super awesome :) You will feel like you are in Home & you will get the fresh food as what they do whatever you order they go to market and purchase the things and prepare the dishes for you. I was feeling like it was my home and I stay away from home and came to Puri for having a leisure time. Lastly if you ask the manager to get a cab for sightseeing they will arrange a cab for you as well as for puja .

We reached puri at 4 am in the morning. We knew the check in time is 8 am. But after waiting for 1 hour in railway station we thought we will wait in the hotel reception instead of railway station. The Guest house is located at Sagar Vihar. Auto will cost you around 180 rupees. But they will naturally ask for more. Need to bargain.When we reached the hotel around 5.30 AM we were not asked to wait and a beautiful room on the top floor was given immediately.It's on the terrace and the view is excellent.Only the Road separates the beach from the hotel. We were given room no 302 and we found it really good. It was decent sized along with a sofa. Bathroom was very well cleaned.AC worked absolutely fine.T.V. Worked fine.No complaints at all. Food is also good here and I find it decent priced.But the best part was the staff of this hotel. Manager Mr.Tapan and Raju were very helpful and polite.You may not expect hotel like atmosphere here but the Staff made our stay lot more comfortable than what we get in a high priced hotel. Hotel is away from the congested part of Puri and perfect for a relaxed holiday. Only con is they don't have intercom in room but I'm happy to overlook that will come back to this hotel again and again. Altogether an excellent stay.

Roof top rooms having beautiful sea beach view. Far from busy market. Quite silent and peaceful place having only the roaring sound of bay of Bengal. I visited in Oct'18, manager was quite helpful and well behaved. It was a very nice stay.

This hotel is our first choice to stay. Their behavior, reception, location and for budget friendly. This is my third time stay in this hotel. We book three rooms. Three senior citizens persons with us. They always take care them without any hezitation. One think I have to share their food menu option very minimum but you can't choice any item from the menu because all items always not available. And they also stopped to cooking outsider raw fish which decision demotivated us. Otherwise recommended to stay.

Lovely...... just in front of beach. Full view of sea for front side rooms only. Really a treat to watch. Staff very cooperative and food is tasty. Foods are only on order, i.e you have to give prior order in advance. Ofcourse few drawbacks are there as: 1. No outside foods allowed 2. Bit far from Swagdwar (around 1.5 km to 2 km) for which you have to pay around 50 - 80 bucks whenever you have to go to the centre of attraction "Swargdwar" by auto. 3. Strict dinning time to be maintain. But things apart it will be enjoyable stay with sea facing rooms.

one of my best experiences in puri. a homely atmosphere. best taken care of. you ask for it n you get it. 1st floor rooms have best views. only thing is you need to order food before hand. food is great, and best part was hospitality and warmth. highly recommended for anyone who wants to relax and have food of your choice.

Budget hotel with beautiful sea view. The view from the terrace is just awsm.All rooms are sea facing but u can request them to provide room no 301 or 302 both are on the terrace. This is the only plus point with this hotel. Very far away from the crowded place and market. After 8'o clock this place becomes desolate. So keep in mind this is not a place for family or couples. Food is very bad here and also they don't allow outside foods. As this is very far from the market area so you have to pay 50 bucks every time if you want to go to the nearest market that is swargdaur.
