Hotel Jeevan Sandhya

Very good family hotel infront of the sand beach. Great ambiance now some alteration works are going there . Still no problem for guests... The staff service is excellent. We have to check out at 10:30 am for our afternoon flight, they without any hesitation prepared lunch for our 21 members seperate good packed parcel. The Food also very tasty ..Each time they discuss the menu for our next food . Manager and staffs are very good . I recommend this hotel for all families and family group . You can see the Sun rise from the balconies Beach is about 50 meter away..

This time it was a very bitter experience for us... Rooms are very small, after sending half payment in advance, while checking we have forced for the payment in full. Rooms with no amenities and no cattle etc. 1st day, Evening snacks was good, not the tea. But night veg dinner was good. 2nd day morning breakfast was just ok. In lunch, it was long wait after placing the order while breakfast, food was not good. Night dinner time we have asked for something that was in bill and paid but didn't received the item. Sadly we have showed in reception, for solution they call resturant manager, but no solution. If you ask for a empty cup or spoon/plate - for having the prasad, for that also you have to wait for more than hour. After that also you will get a plastic spoon. Hotel is expanding with their new rooms, all day there was construction noise disturbing- that also excepted, but if a hotel service person don't have any patience they shouldn't serve food. Mainly lady in service in dinning hall. They are getting irritated if you ask for simple bread toast in breakfast and simple plan dal for lunch time. Puri I have stayed in different kind of hotel.. small range to high range. This is the most worthless experience for me. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. Hotel is charging different amount to different customers.

We, 6 senior citizens of 3 families were very pleased with the behaviour of the every staff of the hotel. Room, bed and bathroom, all were very neat and clean. Quality of food is also very good. Most importantly they prepared it as per our request, non spicy , not to oily but good in taste. Room cleaning done as and when we request . Toilets cleaned everyday. We were served everything we require with a smile. Location of this hotel is excellent. We booked 3 AC rooms with side sea view. Sea is clearly visible from the balcony. Beach is just over the new marine drive road. We will love to stay here again and again. Special thanks to Mr.Nilu, Asstt. Mngr. for his cooperation and support in all aspects.

The staff are polite, well-behaved, and always wear a smile while serving food. That's a gesture I always appreciate. The food is excellent and clean here. A complimentary breakfast is served daily. Although my family and I had a great experience, I will definitely recommend this place to others at a reasonable rate.

The food quality needs major upliftment, my parents could not complete the breakfast because of the quality. The tea was so pathetic I could not take more then 2 sips. Thank you for allowing me to stay additional 1 hour during check out time. But seriously 8am check out time makes no sense and clock needs to be tweaked taking into consideration the departing time of majority trains and flights which is at afternoon or evening. My recommendation would be 11 am check in and 10am check out as minimum. (Usually majority tourist places have 12pm check in and 10-11am check out) The standout will be the courteous staff and the memoir gifted to my parents for the multiple hardships faced. For this specific reason only I am giving 2 stars.

The location was bang next to beach and it was very pleasant. The staff were very polite and attended us with utmost care. We had a very comfortable stay. The food was very tasty and delicious. It absolutely worth the money and I would recommend it to all my friends and relatives.

During our stay, the property was still under construction, which caused some inconvenience. The reception area had been relocated, making it a bit tricky to navigate. Additionally, the hotel does not provide transport services, which was another challenge. On a positive note, the staff were very humble and sweet, always ready to assist. However, the food service was slow, and it took a long time for meals to be delivered to our room. The rooms themselves were quite small and felt congested. If you're hoping for a sea-facing room, be aware that you may end up with a side view instead. Lastly, last-minute upgrades were not possible, which was a bit disappointing.
