Goroomgo Ashok Royal Puri

Worst hotel room, pathetic experience. We booked this hotel online from Jan 11 to 12, 2025 with 50 percent advance payment of the tariff. The booking was made through Mor group of hotels, Puri via Booking.com. We reached the hotel in the morning at 6:00am. Our check-in time was 7:30 am. Inspite of several request the hotel owner allotted us a room at 9:00 am. The room was shabby, washroom was pathetic, smelly with damp wall. Moreover, the outlet of the top floor washroom was leaking and the dirty water including urine from the ceiling. Thus We couldn't use the washroom and requested the hotel owner to provide us another room. But the denied. We had to go to other nearby hotel with our child and requested them to use the washroom. Our experience was pathetic. The website Booking.com do not review hotels properly. They assure booking without prepayment, whereas these fraudulent hotels use other interface and call repeatedly for advance payment through goroomgo.com etc where they demand 50 percent payment with no free cancellation.

Location is good. Rooms are big and well accommodation. Services are good by staff member.

Location is fine - near beach but the photos are misleading and fell short of expectations. Not worth 1700/night. Staff is unwelcoming. Floor is stained. They were cooking near our room for themselves and kept their utensils outside our room. Cobwebs in windows, ac drain routed to bathroom. Big blackhole in toilet wall. U can demand for rs1000

GOROOMGO IS TOTALLY FRAUD. Worst experience ever. Third class hotel with dirty rooms and all. Bathroom doors are broken and cello tapes were used to fix them. Dirty bedsheets, even the basic facilities are not available. We booked for another property and paid in advance as per GOROOMGO rules, but we were assigned with this third class hotel with fake informations.

If there's an option for 0 star or negative star i rate it lowest on the basis of their service and cleaning I never seen such dirty and poor service hotel in my entire life, room is like a haunted house that seems like it abondened since long . I booked it from a site named goroomgo and paid fully in advance via online mode when i arrive at the hotel i felt cheated as this is the most dirty hotel or I would like to say 2 kaudi ka room i told their staff to clean the room or arrange me another but when i saw another all of their room are same . i left my money with them as they didn't gave me refund and i booked a new one in another hotel. Please never stay in it or never book this as this is not for stay its for dumping garbage only.

It's an average hotel at great location with almost no service. I mean they don't even have tea cups to serve tea or coffee.

Very pathetic experience, rooms are dirty and damp, they don't change the bedsheets one the previous tenant leaves, the manager named Suresh is a cheater, never ever book any services (site seeing, Puri darshan etc.) with his help, he charges 30-40% extra as his comission, you will come to know of this later and he behaves as if he is not aware of the charges

Faltu-bakbwas Terrible experience i had last time of visit puri hotel, puri, odisha with my friends. dirty, uncleaned, over priced rooms . even no staff was available to serve drinking water at 10 p.m. in the room. I think its not a hotel they make this for illegal works. most 3rd class hotel in puri.
