Gold Coast Beach Resort

I would have given zero stars. The owner scammed us by showing fake pictures and robbed us of a lot of money. It's a low class lodge and they have the audacity to call it a resort. It's at a secluded location and has security concerns. The place is dirty and there's no proper lighting. This building doesn't even have a lift. Their so called restaurant has 3 tables and is in a very unhygienic condition. Think before you give any money to this place.

don't even think of staying here, this place doesn't even have an elevator, rooms are smelly but large. AC is poor, I have booked it via AGODA post checking rating of 7. do not know who are the people rated it so highly. it says sea view rooms, where is the sea? I can see only other hotel structures. unfortunately I have to bare it for next 4 days. checked in on 19/2/25 at 11 pm, and its a shock. if there is an option negative rating would have done that. paid the full amount have to bare it & to AGODA-- stop fooling people by inflated ratings. will never book through AGODA and agoda help line not available.||my booking ID of AGODA- 1540879217

There was no guests in hotel when we checked in, but we were told most of the rooms are booked. Stayed two days but didn't see anyone. Reception was attended by housekeeping staff who demanded full payment before check in. Tariff was including GST and breakfast but no bill was provided at checkout. Staff made a lame excuse and said it will be emailed. Email never came. Entire staff gathered at check out and was looking for some tip with hungry eyes. Here are some pointers for people willing to come here - 1. Before checkin ensure to see rooms first, as most of the rooms are smelly, have sepage, and are not used in a while 2. Do not use tea kettles as these are rusted from inside, sugar, tea, coffee, milk powder kept on table have bugs 3. Washrooms are unhygienic and have no toiletries 4. Breakfast has no choice and is not buffet, puri sabji, bread butter omelet 5. Demand proper receipt of the money you pay and take the bill do not fall in false trap 6. They provide some local brand mineral water bottle which is hard in taste, bring your own from market 7. Prefer meals outside and not in hotel. There is a restaurant Cricket World Cup 2011 close by try there. 8. They close hotel gate at 10pm and open around 8am. Expect call from staff in evening if you plan to come late and want to spend sometime at beach, as staff wants to go to sleep. 9. Research and gather information on Puri and other sightseeing on your own. Information provided by staff on temple and local commute was misleading. 10. Lastly there are many budget hotels in vicinity. Just do some hopping. There are better options for the price you pay here. Also, checkout time is 8am and they will keep you reminding. But they will charge full tariff if you book the room even late at 11pm. My recommendation, don't book online, come and hop on hotels, choose one which best suits in your budget. Don't fall on trap. Mostly all hotels/homestays/etc. are playing with emotions of pilgrims, they cheat in the way they can in name of Lord Jagannath. Then why not nature take revenge in form of Tsunamis and Cyclones.

Room lights were not working. Dinner, tea and coffee was not available on request. During my residing, cook was suddenly went on leave. Breakfast was worst (only serving Poori sabji daily) eventhough they served expired Bread. It is too far from city and market and feeling exterior and surrounding was not looking good.

Worst hotel stayed in till date and haven't seen such misbehaved staff till now. Manager,staff owner all are worst and they don't know how to treat a guest. Plz don't stay in this hotel... they will spoil all your trip and mood.

Hospitality is very poor ..staffs behaviour is extremely rude especially that 4.1 feet height man and bathroom and toilet can be more hygiene at this point ..And ac is not working properly ..overall bad experience ..guys make sure before going that hotel ..and according to price this can b much better .overall experience very very bad

My Stay at Gold Coast was an absolute joy.this was my third visit but 1st review. The room was spacious and clean, with beautiful views. We loved the convenience of the amenities. The proximity to the beach was in meters , which made our morning walks so refreshing. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Their restaurant served best fingerlicking foods.it reminded me of my mother's cooking.thank you team for these pleasant memories

Resently we stayed here, and our stay was super comfortable. Staff were super friendly and always reachable. Rooms were cozy. One thing I just like to say, this is my personal opinion, i gues we all human if you talk nicely to a person all your work would be done nicely and smoothly. We treat them very nicely and there open up and showed the shower of hospitality. It's in the lighthouse and every now and there you will get commute to reach your destination.
