I would like to bring to your attention my recent experience at Hotel Empires, Puri, which I had booked through our company portal (Holiday Homes). Unfortunately, the stay did not meet the expected standards and turned out to be quite disappointing. The room allotted to me was in a very poor and messy condition. Additionally, there was ongoing construction work right outside the room, which made the environment quite unpleasant. I requested the hotel manager to provide a different room in better condition, but my request was denied, and I was asked to continue in the same room. In the evening, the area outside my room was flooded--apparently due to overflow from the swimming pool. I had to walk carefully through the water just to step out of my room. What was more concerning was the pump used to drain the water--it was lying on the wet floor with exposed wiring, which posed a serious safety hazard. I had planned this trip to relax and unwind, but due to these issues, I was unable to enjoy my holiday. *A significant issue requiring attention is the unauthorized cleaning of my room during my absence. This constitutes a breach of privacy and raises serious concerns regarding the security of my personal effects. I am sharing this feedback so that necessary steps can be taken to review the hotel's inclusion in our Holiday Homes portal, and to help ensure a better experience for others in the future.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The property itself is quite impressive, having been completely renovated--it looks modern and well-maintained. The Kalina Conference Hall stands out with its excellent lighting and sound system, making it a solid choice for business events and even marriage parties.||The pool is well-kept and enjoyable, and the beach nearby is clean and peaceful, giving the feeling of a private beach due to its distance from the main city||However, the service and food were disappointing. The staff behavior was extremely poor, which significantly impacted the overall experience. While the venue is suitable for corporate gatherings, improvements in hospitality and dining are urgently needed.

We had our Annual Meet at Empires, Puri. They have recently renovated their rooms and they were modern, clean and spacious, no complaints there. The location was loved by all our employees, they enjoyed the sea facing rooms and the pool area. The food was very good, we all enjoyed the variety and the chef even added a few items from his side which was greatly appreciated. The hall where the event was happening was spacious and well lit. Overall the experience was very nice, Madhu Sir helped us a lot with all our requirements.||My only request would be for your staff to be better with the guests, they were a bit unaccommadating at times. I understand we were a lot of people but the response could have been handled in a better way.

Rooms are very luxurious. It's a perfect place for family little away from the crowd and facing the expanded bay of bengle. Swimming pools , beautiful lawn dining ,gym, sea view and cordial staffing makes it a great stay. Would love again to stay in next summer.

The management was excellent, and the food was quite enjoyable. However, I noticed that it might be a bit on the pricey side for the locals, which could be something to consider for improvement. Additionally, the rooms could benefit from some updates. I hope you take these suggestions into account, as they could enhance the overall experience for everyone.

I recently stayed at Hotel Empire in Puri and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the property has undergone a complete renovation, and the rooms reflect a modern and clean aesthetic with updated furniture. The Kalinga Conference Hall is a highlight of the hotel--well-equipped with excellent lighting, sound, and presentation facilities--making it ideal for corporate events or wedding gatherings. The hotel also offers direct beach access. Since it is located away from the busy parts of town, the beach feels almost private, which is a definite advantage for those seeking peace and quiet. However, the overall experience was significantly let down by several major issues. The food quality was extremely poor and, in my opinion, even hazardous to health. Despite raising concerns, there was no proper response or resolution from the management. The staff behavior was equally disappointing--unresponsive and inattentive. For example, after requesting a refill of tea and coffee in the room, our calls were ignored. Furthermore, the property outside the renovated areas is poorly maintained. There were frequent power cuts every 20 minutes, and the air conditioning unit did not restart automatically once the power returned. This meant someone had to manually turn it on each time, which was both inconvenient and frustrating. Overall, while the hotel boasts a good location and newly renovated interiors, the poor service, terrible food, maintenance issues, and unreliable power supply make it a poor choice--especially for families. Conclusion: Despite its modern upgrades and beachside location, Hotel Empire in Puri fails to deliver a comfortable and reliable stay. I would not recommend this hotel, particularly for families or guests expecting quality service and hospitality

Newly removed rooms and service were spot on. Location is easy to reach and the property is spacious and clean. Staff is quite responsive. Good amount of parking space is available inside the property. Only gripe was the food. There is some room for improvement there.

Walked in for room enquiry and booking. Didn't find staff to be friendly and helping. Over priced. Prefer Ramada, Taj, Sterling, Toshali than this. By the way we never called nor we asked or bargain for tariff. We just walked in and your staff didn't even bothered to show room. Tariff doesn't seems to justify what top hotels provide to their guest as a service irrespective of guest check in or not. What you lack is empathy towards your guest. It's a basic ask. Your comment is totally biased towards your property and towards guest. If you consider among those top ones first learn to take feedback even if it's unfavorable and critical, unless you want to improve. Else rest in peace. My verdict - AVOID THIS PROPERTY
