Very scenic location, simple and basic habitat. Huge benefits of a pristine, super relaxed and calm ambience. Surroundings are very non commercial and not yet tainted. Can go for walks in the forest and have surprises of deer run across you!!|Sunset boat ride is very spectacular. River cruise for spotting crocodiles is both rewarding and relaxing. Clean and hygienic rooms. Package offer includes homely and healthy meals served 4x a day. Night skies are a treasure. And bird orchestras early morning and evenings are quite a performance. Service staff is very caring, and hard working. Owner is personally involved in delivering warm hospitality. We went in early March and were the only guests then. It felt like we were in our own farmhouse.

My wife and myself two nights stay at this quiet resort for two nights during our drive in the Odisha hills and Mahanadi george. View of the hills from the cottage and sounds of chirping birds around made the stay enjoyable. Well, though not a upscale resort it can be best described a modest home-stay type environment amongst some simple and kindhearted people, especially run by an energetic man, the grand child of noted Freedom Fighter Biswaksen Dalia, who left his lucrative city job and engaged in developing the place.

A very scenic property at the foothills,all cottages open up to the vast green space . Rooms are basic but clean. Service is excellent, the owner personally interacts with the guests and takes care of their needs. Very near to the gorge and the view there is breathtaking. You can also go for a jjngle hike ,other than the boat ride which is the main attraction

Very peaceful, staffs are good and coperative. Most amazing part is the chirping sound of the birds in morning.A beautiful yellow bird captivated me in the morning. Being a birds lover It made my day. According to price the room condition was not appropriate, torn bedsheet, no glass to drink water but it was cleaned. Washroom is best. Overall it gave a serene effect, enjoyed the evening with cold breeze, stars, moon, mountain and the romantic smell of rajanigandha. Really it was amazing. Will go again.

Decided to had a short trip with family to Satkosia, Odisha in February mid 2025. It was one of the best short trip that we had in our life. Staying at Hill View Resort was our best decision of this trip. The resort was located perfectly within the nature surrounded by hills and greenary. The rooms were spacious and clean with all necessary amenities. The magestic view of hills from the lawns of the room in the morning will take all your worries out. The inhouse restaurant was also quite good and staff were really courteous. They tried their best to arrange local delicacy like dalma and chhena poda on our request. The manager was a true gentleman and helped us plan our sightseeing by arranging car and all. In a word, you will never regret if you visit this place. My best wishes to the resort as it is planning for extension with lot more amenities and attractions.

It is a good resort to stay for night with family. As ordered, the dinner, lunch and breakfast are also very good and tasty. Location is also enjoyable. After all the owner and the service persons all behaved well. Boating for a short while is also memorable.

First of all, let me say that this Hillview Resort is spread over a large area. It is very well maintained and is located in an open forest area.If you go in winter, you will see many types of flowers and trees here. And there are treehouses and swings here for activities.The quality of the food here is great. Owner and all their staff are very friendly.Here, bonfires arrange at night in winter season.chicken barbecue, and panir barbecue are served .You can order whatever you want to eat.The location is very, very good and if you want to go to see the sunset point from here, then the owner will arrange everything for you.
