OTDC Yatrinivas, Konark

Stayed at OTDC Yatrinivas from 4th to 7th March 2024. Enjoyed the serenity of the place. The rooms were neat. Care was amply taken by the authorities to make the rooms moquito-free, The food was quite good and served neatly with care. In one word, it was a successful trip. If we take our own car, then the Yatrinivas is a good place to stay as Puri has become very crowded and commercialized and Puri is also very near to this place connected by beautiful marine drive road.

Very good ambience. Availed deluxe room. Room was old. Old broken air conditioner but the cooling was fine. The washroom is not up to the mark. Don't expect much. The price of food is on the higher side. Huge parking place. Recommended as per price range.

Location is good, it is near konark temple. Maintainance of the room is not good. Food is good in comparison with neer by food joints. Maintainance could be better and there should be EV charging station.

Similar story of all the state owned tourism department hotels. Great property and great location. Loads of parking available. That's all. Rest is all in tatters. Rooms are below average. Not maintained well. You can only expect a bed and bathroom. I stayed for 2 nights and paid 3078. Was on a solo bike trip. There's no wifi. Breakfast doesn't start on time. Food is average. Staff are not very professional like star hotels. Very near to the sun temple. Walkable. Beach is a 2+ kms away.

Awesome place. Budget friendly. Recommended to visit this place. Very near to Konark sun temple. Rooms are just need to be more finishing

OTDC Konark left us with a mixed feel! While the location is a huge plus, given the proximity to the Sun Temple, most other things left us wanting! The Rooms were really bad, with stained sheets that we had to ask for change repeatedly! On of the rooms we d taken had a pedestal fan instead of a ceiling fan! The pedestal fan could do better with some cleaning! While they changed the fan, it had to be requested first! As for the restaurant, the food was average at best. The milk we had ordered had some black specs floating about it! No clue what it was! The staff had an extremely bored look and they seemed to loathe every single tourist who walked in! If you book there, be prepared! The property is beautiful! Maybe we had got the last few of the bad rooms! Maybe there are better rooms.! But, be prepared!

It's looking beautiful arena. I just entered today, Building is beautiful but more maintenance is needed.

The only good thing about this property is the location. Located very close to the sun temple. Except that rooms are shabby unclean untidy, unclean and dirty bathroom with no maintenance done,old broken equipments. Even the restaurant is pathetic, food was tasteless and was served in ice cream cups. Consider only if you have a short trip.
