Tampara Resort

1. It is located in one of the quietest place away from the crowd 2. It has swimming pool 3. It is walled and safe 4. It is in front of the boat dock where boating can be done 5. Very nice option who wants some quiet peaceful time

I went to the restaurant as per my sister's recommendation. However, I was very much disappointed. I paid 5K for 3 people and the dishes were very mediocre. The staff were not even paying attention to the tables. Moreover, their service was at best on par with any generic restaurant you eat, didn't feel like I was eating at a 3 star. Overall, I could have received far better food and service for the same price. NOT WORTH IT.

We had a very disappointing experience at Tampara Resort. In the evening, we opted for room service and were given a bedsheet that already had stain marks on it. Since the stains were on the edge, we ignored it thinking it wasn't worth raising an issue. However, during checkout, the staff denied the stain was pre-existing and forced us to pay 500, claiming they could no longer use the bedsheet. When I tried to explain the situation, the receptionist was extremely arrogant and rude, showing no willingness to listen. His only response was, "Just pay and go. This level of customer handling was shocking and unprofessional. To make things worse, the food was bland. Even after requesting dinner to be served by 10:30 PM, it was delayed until 11:00 PM, despite informing them in advance. I've stayed in a wide range of hotels & resorts some better, some worse but none have treated guests this poorly. I strongly urge others to avoid Tampara Resort & consider other options in Berhampur where basic courtesy & guest respect are still valued

Great Property. Excellent Hospitality. Can not name one or two persons as The entire Staff of Tampara Resort from Security Persons to Front Office Reception to House keeping to Restaurant and anyone of the property are very courteous, making us feel safe and comfortable throughout the stay. Highly recommended and a must visit property. Best Wishes.

I recently stayed at Tampara Resort along with my family members. The property is a great place to spend holidays. Rooms are excellent, and food quality (Especially Complementary Breakfast) is too good. Staffers are polite, prompt and well behaved. They treated us very well. Thank you to everyone at Tampara Resort for giving us an amazing experience.

Stayed for a night with family on 30th Dec, 2024. The resort is located next to Tampara Lake and a public garden. One of our rooms had a lake view. But the view is okish. Parking for a few cars at front within the compound and large dedicated parking area adjacent to the resort. The staff is good. The rooms are clean. The complimentary breakfast was great. Out of the 3 rooms booked, 2 rooms had issues in bathroom water drainage and toilet flush issues. Overall, it was a good stay.

Visited for lunch on our Road Trip from Rameswaram to Kolkata. Food was good but too costly. The location was awesome. Staff were very courteous. Not stayed hence cannot comments on service and room. Would like to visit sometime.
